PPV keywords

Hi,

What tool are you using for PPV campaign to find keywords? Did you guys got successful with keywords or url targeting.

Any help would be appreciated.

    I have way more success using URL's. You can use some KW's but focus mainly on URL's.

      May I know what urls are u using?

      1. Self targeting i.e. url of the offer?
      2. Competitor's url?
      3. Related product/services url?

      i have found that 2 and 3 does not work sell especially for big brand names as people who are going to the competitor's url or related url have already decided to purchase their services from elsewhere...

      1 works but is not allowed on networks like leadimpact...

    I personally like using URL's, i find it more targeted. For urls i just search google and bing. For keywords (when I do use them which is once and a while), i just use notepad

    I am old-school too, I too use just simple URLs while targeting and it really pays off most of the times..

    I would second Chris' advice on this one. If you really want to get into PPV, stick to domain names and url targeting first. That's how I got the most success and good traffic with, as I would tailor my landers according to their site MUCH better as I knew exactly what type of traffic I would get.

    I prefer URLs as well. I always start with them, and once I have successfully converting campaign, then I will start testing so keywords in the campaigns. I typically will use Google's Keyword Planner to find them.
