POF 2,500+ impressions, no clicks (first campaign ever)?

Hello guys, this is my first ever campaign in my life and i don't know what to make of the results so far. I'm promoting a peerfly dating offer at POF and so far i have over 2,500 impressions with absolutely no clicks. Is it too early to judge the campaign, or should i change the creative already? The campaign is a little slow because my targeting is very narrow. I also have it set to distribute evenly and my CPM is $0.40

    You need to test.
Set aside a budget of $50 that should get you around 125,000 Impressions.

Set atleast 10 different images and angles. Optimize from there.
To increase CTR try adding borders, play with the colors or even show a bit of skin thats still safe for POF.

I agree with BlackFox, test more things at once, and on a bigger scale.

Basically you want to do when starting a new campaign is to throw a bunch of things to the wall at once. Then see what sticks, and from there improve on what is working.... you do this by throw a bunch of stuff at the wall again, but this time in the direction of what worked the first time.

In a lot of ways CPA marketing is just collecting data and analyzing it.

2500 impressions on POF would be too early to judge. I do have some experience on POF and its always good to follow these steps:

    1) Create many different ad copies..
    2) Test each for at least 5k impressions
    3) Eliminate the less performing ad copies
    4) Add few more new ad copies
    5) Repeat

Thank you guys. So do you mean i should start different campaigns at the same time to split-test the creatives?

2k+ clicks and no clicks to your ads? I'd kill those banners and/or try to make them more alluring..

You need more data before you can come to any conclusions. How many different ads are you currently testing?

ads? like creatives? i only have one campaign but i have made different creatives (around 7) but dont know how to test them. Should i launch a separate campaign for each creative?

As long as you test each creative to monitor the ctr and earnings, etc you will be fine. Believe it or not, on pof 7 is a little on the low side, I'd try to bump it up to 10-15

I would instantly change up the banners you are using, clearly they are not luring the clicks!

I don't think so. You can try different campaigns with these 7 creatives, some can perform more better with an another auditory (age, place, income etc.)
I have campaigns on POF too, CPA offer pays $60 per sale, but cost per click is pretty expensive due low CTR. I pay $0.50-0.70 for click in average.
Anybody who has profitable campaings? What minimum CPA payment for lead/sale do you take for POF? Are dating offers still converts?
I just haven't made any good converting ads, all my rates are 0.05-0.07 per creative.

    Hello myown,

I agree with just about everybody here regarding adding more creatives... I always start with 10 at a minimum per campaign and then optimize based on CTR after about 5-10K impressions/creative. After this milestone you should have a good idea about what is and isn't working. Additionally, you should try other networks as well besides POF.

On POF its all about testing images. The more image you test, better chances you have to find a high CTR images.

    Here's how I test:-

    1. Find a good offer and build at least 2-3 landing pages.

    2. Create a new campaign with 10 images. Let it run

    3. Kill the images that have a CTR of less than 0.1% after 5K impressions and replace them with new images.

    4. Kill the images that are not profitable after spending 2 times offer payout.

    5. Start adding variations to the winning images like borders, tilting, mirroring, etc to achieve even higher CTR and prevent banner blindness.

Btw, Do you make landing pages for POF with opt-in forms? Or just custom LP has simple redirect to advertiser page. Advice, please.
