Tyler cruz spends $34,000 on one Traffic Network. What kind of network is this? Do you think it is Google or Facebook? Or ppv traffic networks like LI, Trafficvance, 50onred. Any other network in your list.

It's most likely to be Adwords, as it has the highest traffic. I do spend the half amount on Google for just 2 websites and if he has more products, that's not a problem at all.

Wow, that is a pretty good amount to spending on traffic in general.

I've heard of that being spent with many different networks, combined, but on one single traffic network, not too often!

I'd agree with Adsense. He must have some really awesome campaigns running, because it's obvious he's hit some hot spots in a few markets if he's scaling them like that.

I don't think he even captures leads? John Chow reckons he doesn't. That's mental!

It's definitely not any PPV networks. They are pretty low volume to do a spend like that on just one of them. It has got to be Adwords, Bing or Facebook, no doubt. You could spend that monthly volume on any of those three.

I bet people are spending that kind of money on PPV networks as well.

I am sure they are but not on just one single network. Even on the highest traffic PPV networks, a single vertical is going to max out at about $5-10k if you bid #1. So he would be running multiple campaigns.

        VS

Adwords, Bing, Facebook - where you could spend $34,000 on just one campaign.

So, Most member agree on FB and Adword. Can we scale on bing as well? Today i signed up on bing but i saw number of clicks in BING is lower as compared 7search. Anyone here use Bing Extensively...

Definitely Adwords and BING combined, but I would say 90% comes from Adwords.

But spending $34k a month might seem huge to a lot but to put this into perspective, the most I have ever spend on a single PPC campaign a month was £87k with around a +32% profit margin on top. That was before the credit crunch hit and we used to get £110 a lead back then.

Remember those crazy mortgages and loans the banks and building societies offered to pretty much everyone? I used to run a site sitting at the top of Google via Adwords. Cost a lot but equally made a lot in ROI too. I think my record was over a hundred or so leads on a single day which was insane if I think about it now. My credit card definitely wasn't happy haha, but overall it did pay off.

However, those days are over now as the mortgage and secure loan market is pretty much dead now ... so we have to make due with a bit more rationale and sanity unlike these crazy days a few years ago

But the principle is still the same and it's not uncommon to spend 5 figures in PPC a month and also make 5 figures back ... so the 34k in Adword spend doesn't surprise me, especially as he has a healthy profit margin as well.

Are you still making big money from Loan market leads, as leads value is reduced?

Don't forget about fixed-price CPM buys. More affiliates spend tens of thousands on those placements successfully than via self-serve bidding platforms like Adwords and FB.

    Hi,

I always read Tyler's blog and he seems to know what he is doing, I would bet that those 34k are for FB Ads or AdWords Ads, but to be honest it can be any type of Traffic Source.

    Regards.

why do you guys think 34k cannot be spent on ppv? i spent 10k alone on ppv last month, so i don't know why you guys are so confident that it is not ppv?

I always thought he was doing Adwords but I may be wrong. 34k spend in a month is awesome for any marketer but remember people are doing 50k-100k a day on either adwords or FB

    Why not just ask him?
I'm assuming this is likely across different traffic sources opposed to just one

Makes you wonder how much profit he is making from that? That would be awesome to keep investing until you got up to that level though.

His ROI is so low. I could get 800% ROI when I first started out on PPC (Adwords) and I had didn't track keywords etc.. all I used was common sense. So he is doing something wrong if his ROI's are less than 100% which they appear to be. He clearly has a long way to go when it comes to paid traffic and how to target correctly (i.e attract the buyers).

LOL like ROI is the most important thing.

      Aff 1: 40.000 spend. 40% ROI
      Aff 2: 10.000 spend 100% ROI

      Who would you rather be?

It would have to be either Facebook, Adwords, or Bing for any type of mainstream advertising network.

He's probably buying incentive traffic or paying a fixed CPA to a content locker network or something similar.
