Question on starting out with CPA offer for Newbies like me

Hi Everyone,

I just joined this forum few minutes ago. Hope to gain knowledge on promoting CPA offers.

I'm going to describe what I know so far. Someone please guide me if I did not understood what CPA is about or how to market it out

First find the market which I want to offer to my prospects.

Next find the CPA offer in the "market place" that is related to the market ( I have just submitted my application for Above All Offers, Peerfly and MaxBounty, still waiting for approval)

Once I've found my offer that suits the market. I will hire someone from elance to create a professional looking landing page. Landing page must be straight to the point, clear and concise. I will also capture the lead from my landing page.

The landing page is to up sell the offer to my propects before giving them the link to the actual offer.

I will use Adwords, BingAds and 7search to drive the traffic to my landing page.

The keywords and my landing page is crucial to conversions.

Is this what most people are doing here for CPA offers?

You may want to try the CPA Evolution by William Souza

I think it is a well laid out training course for someone just starting out. Explains a lot. Cost is about $300
I am following the program and feel it is well worth the price.

Sounds like a decent plan to start out. If you explain this method in your application you shouldn't have much of an issue with getting approved either,

I got an email yesterday from AD4, asking me to provide my Skype id. I've replied and also added him. But no respond till now. Same goes to MaxBounty. I called up MaxBounty like 4 times. 3 times on Monday and 1 time on Tuesday and also added him into my Skype.

      No respond..man

Does this happen to all the CPA networks? I heard that usually the approval is pretty fast if done right.

A great man that teach very well cpa marketing is Gauher Chaudhry. He explains everything about cpa marketing. When you apply to a network do not look like you're a newbie. You must tell them that you can drive a lot of traffic to their offers. My advice to you is to download his free ebook from cpahotspot.com. He helped me a lot in the beginning and definitely can do the same for you!

Has anyone looked into combining PayPerCall and CPA? e.g. have a landing page with an email signup form (CPA) and the phone number (PPCall)?

This sounds like a good plan. What I would only add is to select your network carefully. Check the markets very well before you start. You want to receive the highest payout and to make sure you will get paid on time.

Yeah, you're on the right track

Just one thing -- there's really no need to "find" a market with a need/problem/pain first as your are NOT creating a product.

Just pick a CPA product. Any product you feel comfortable with... then "match" that product to the audience it was intended for.

Remember - the merchant's the one who's solving the market's problem. All you do is introduce that product to the audience. Get it?

Naturally, you want to research the product and audience... ie: find out where you can reach that specific, intended audience, the benefits of the product/offer, etc.

    Best of luck!

Makes a lot of sense there! Thank you!

My advice is to pick one traffic source and master it, biggest mistake I see is new people jumping around from source to source wondering why none of their campaigns are working, they end up spreading themselves to thin and end up losing a lot of money just testing.

You need to sit down and test test test with one source to learn what it takes to get something working on THAT particular source, each source will require a different strategy and it'll take money and time to figure out.

It's likely your Ad copy. Either that, or you're targeting the wrong audience.

Yet, it seems like the D.R. is getting click-throughs, so you might want to look into that further.

Lastly, are the actual Offer Landing Pages you are driving traffic to Mobile-Ready "Responsive"?

Sending Mobile offers to Non-Mobile-Ready landing pages is a campaign killer.

Check out the Free training series I offer below where I go over how to improve conversions on your landing pages.
