CPA offer violation question

A question here.

Say I found a CPA offer which does not allow PPC traffic.
Does it mean they do not allow direct linking?

And what if I use PPC to drive traffic to my landing page, and the customer click on the link to the CPA offer. Does that violate the CPA offer?

    Direct Linking & PPC are completely different.
    Driving ppc traffic to a lander then redirecting to an offer is alright but its best to contact your affiliate manager.

    Direct Linking just means you need to send all traffic to a buffer page first which you control. So if you want to do PPC traffic, send that traffic to one of your sites first which has your affiliate link on it for the user to click.

    But if you violate a CPA's marketing guidelines you can risk your commissions being deleted and, in the worst case scenario, you getting kicked from the network.

    So ensure you always stick to their guidelines and if you are unsure about anything always directly ask your affiliate manager to clarify. That way you always have an official answer

    On cases I have seen, they don’t allow PPC is because, they are already using PPC to promote their offer.

    At times, I even saw on Commission Junction they restrict keywords that I won’t be able to use them in PPC Ad.

    However, this will be a great idea to drive traffic the way you want to your LandingPage and then direct them to the offer through ThankYou page.

    If you are gonna build list, then doing PPC is fine. No problem at all.

    Above all, having a conversation with your Aff. Manager, will get you some juicy ideas to suck up

    as others said they both are different.. but if ppc/direct linking is not allowed then I would not try to game the system and use it somehow..
