Own L.P and CPA offer page

I got an idea. But would like to hear everyone's opinion.

Say I want to promote a particular health product. A beauty cream product.

In the merchant's offer page, it has already listed out the benefits of it and including some bonus stuffs and it looks pretty professional.

So now I want to create a landing page

Question

A) Should I create landing page that looks even more professional from the merchant's page?
Actually the question would be, does it matter if my own L.P look different from the merchant's page?

B) If I were to include a few topics on the product that I'm going to offer, can I actually use Adwords to promote the L.P like a full blown website? I believe this should be in compliance with Google Adwords policy.

C) What advertising network does most of the affiliate marketers use these days?
#cpa #offer #page

    A) It doesn't really matter but a consistent colour scheme/style might increase conversions.
    B) The more distractions you have on your site, the less likely you are to make a sale.
    C) Any of the big search, social, ppv and mobile networks are good place to start. Pick one and stick with it.

If the offer you are promiting is famous then there is chances of losing traffic being on a CPA offer’s LP.

    How?

They might have been invited to the same Lander by other marketers. So, the prospects come and close the offer and you get nothing. If the Traffic source is paid, it’s big loss.

Create your own LP, and start testing by 3-5 LP. You must pick one which converts best.

    A. IMO it's more about preselling than making it look pretty, this is where you need to use your sales tactics

    B. depending on the offer it could be difficult. Also you would need to build out the site a fair bit

    C. Ppv, ppc, media buys, mobile

    A. ~ It doesn't have to look more professional per sé. And it doesn't have to have the same "look and feel". I used to think that in error a long time ago until I learned otherwise through testing and experience.

It's all about setting up the right "Expectations" in the visitor's mind. In copywriting, we call it "Ad Congruency". Your landing page can be orange and be about the fruit oranges. If you tell your visitors to expect Apples on the next page and they get Grapes - that's what leads to confusion and lost conversions (sales, opt-ins, etc.).

But if you say, "hey, this offer has great apples for sale. The red ones are my favorite and taste delicious... " And then your visitors hit a page all about apples - then you increase the chances of making a conversion - even if that page is purple and yours is green.

Now, the layout and design (and look and feel) of your site does help. But they help in unison with the page's Ad Copy to move the visitor FORWARD to the next step in the conversion or sales funnel. Get it?

B ~ Yes. You just have to be sure you include sufficient information. Google is not crazy about "squeeze page" or "thin" content pages. And that goes for any landing page.

C ~ I'd guess the more stable ones like maxbounty, neverblue, cpa lead, or adscend media.

    Good luck!
