How To Target Survey Offers?

Yup, that's pretty much my question.
I'm running a Survey Offer in MaxBounty, and I'm using PPV traffic via 50 on red.
But with some research (Alexa, Adwords, SimilarWeb, Follow.net, Skrayp, etc) all the keywords are the same: "Survey for cash" "Pay per survey" "Surveys for money" "Cash fast" etc, and everyone else is doing the same thing... (the smart bid is on the roof)
So, anyone has any advice for targeting this kinds of offers?
What works well?
I'll really appreciate the help, cheers.

Try to offer downloads, like ebooks you own or have written or anything else and mask it with the survey.

I don't understand, the offer is a survey website when user can make money online by filling...surveys.
What do you mean by masking it?

If promote it directly, then you will have a hard time getting profitable.

Instead take it level deeper and come up with "angles" for your offer.
By using angels, you will get cheaper traffic and better conversions rates.

In your case for eg. i would look at what kind of people would look to complete surveys - stay at home moms, college students, etc.
Now lets say i pick, stay at home moms angle - i would find websites that match the demographics (these sites will lower bids due to less competition), build LP around that angle and run traffic to it.

There are many such angles you can come up with. Angles will make or break your campaign

Yes, I'm currently promoting a survery offer on maxbounty that pays $3.20 per signup and I am getting some vveeeerrryyyyy good conversions coming at it from 2 different angles.

    Greetings

Many softwares are avalailable on the market that could help you out. For example, we use TrafficTravis, which can be used for free but its use is limited, or you could buy it and use it with no restrictions. Another tool you could use is a website called Semrush, revealing keywords used by your competitors.

I think you have a strategy problem.

You are trying to compete in a very competitive market (which isn't a bad thing btw) ... but your problem is that you have now margins to play with. Last time I checked, these survey offers pay a few bucks per lead, so everything is absolutely razor-thin and you have no room to manoeuvre.

What you want to be doing is stick to your CPL/Pay Per Lead business model (you got that one down, as anything per lead is a lot easier to convert than per sale) ... but promote different products with higher margins to play with. It will be a lot easier and yields a higher ROI in real terms.

I used to do the same and it's the same amount of work but for a lot less if you promote low-end products, so go into your bigger high-end markets like mortgage applications, real estate enquiries, debt management calls, financing for cars and houses, legal cases for lawyers or claims, etc.

That stuff is the exact same business model as surveys, but they pay a lot more than just a $2 bucks a form submit, more like $30-60 a pop. But you're already on the right track so just keep hammering away at that wall and it will eventually cave in
