Cloaking CPA offers...

Hi guys,

So I'm going to be using Instagram to send traffic to my CPA offers. I am not 100% certain that the method I'm using (giving paying for likes and followers etc.) is allowed by my CPA Network and so to make sure I don't get banned by them I understand I can cloak my links?

Can anyone explain:

1) How this works?
2) How it can help me?
3) How I can do it? (I just installed Pretty Link Lite, don't want to pay for anything if avoidable).

To re-iterate I'm not sure I'm even definitely breaking any rules here, I'm quite new to CPA and just want to stay safe and not get banned from any networks...

Thanks.

Every CPA network is different. You will need to contact your account manager at the CPA network you are working with and ask them.

Ask them what? I just basically want to understand how I can cloak my links so that the CPA network can track how I've driven the traffic.

There are different levels of cloaking.

Are you just trying to cloak your affiliate link so your network doesn't see where your traffic is coming from? Any kind of redirect script should be good enough.

If you are trying to cloak your website from your network then it becomes a bit more complicated.

Either way you will want to ask your network if the instagram traffic is allowed. 99% of the time social traffic is always allowed on offers. But... based on what you said in your OP I can't tell if you are trying to "incentivize" people to complete your offers which is a huge NO NO.

Most offers don't allow incentivized traffic and you will get banned for that. There are some networks that specialize in incentive offers, but you really need to read the terms of the offers you are trying to promote and double check.

Why not just speak with your AM to see if this is legit.
Once you go down the path of cloaking, it becomes a long, tedious game, often not worth playing.

I wouldn't send traffic directly from instagram to CPA offers anyway ... this is like playing the lottery. Put people through your own funnel and collect email addresses in the process.

And you say you want to pay for likes and followers and then in the next post you say you don't want to spend any money. But you will have no clue at all if these paid likes and followers are doing anything for your conversions, since you don't have tracking in place.
Because if you had tracking then cloaking would come with it.

Quite possible I am totally wrong, but if I were you I'd reconsider strategy.

By trying to cloak, you are trying to bend the rules to your favour.

    The best thing yet?

They get all the leads from you and refused to pay due to violations of rules and regulations.

If you are starting out, start something simple and stop looking for shortcuts.

Personally I wouldn't cloak any CPA offers unless you have spoken to your Affiliate Manager or someone else at the network and he has personally OK-ed the practice.

It will save you a lot of potential hassle in the long run, as that way you can make sure you are always 100% compliant with their guidelines.

Cloaking will get you banned in ad networks unless you're really great with it, but if you want to go for it, there's no problem unless you're not okay with black hat

    I m running CPA offers from Maxbounty.com to buysellads.com.

buysellads.com does not allow maxbounty links, is it wrong to cloak the links by Pretty Link plugin and run ad at buysell site?
