What kind of SITE do I need to get into the CPA Networks?

I'm new to CPA and would like to know your strategy to get approved into the various Networks. I understand that could be the biggest bottleneck for a "freshman".

What kind of SITE do I need to get into the CPA Networks? Generic? Niche-site?

...any good examples of nice sites would be apreciated (..and not copied :rolleyes
Thanks!

You don't need a site at all if you do PPC and just say you are sending the traffic direct to the offers.

Otherwise just make a basic affiliate site with some affiliate banners and links on

Thanks for sharing Spud..however, this seems to easy to be true. I've heard stories that being accepted in Networks is your biggest bottleneck if you do not have any track record to show nor any decent web site.

I will ONLY do PPC and email though..

      Thanks again..

Setup a niche site or WP blog (on your own hosting), put some
AdSense on it, a couple of CB products, and get some banners
from CJ or SAS. Let your AM know that you're just starting out
and get busy producing results. That's all they care about.

i applied to about 50 networks with a site that wasnt anything to do with CPA or anything i was accepted by 20 and the rest that rejected me i mailed them back and told them i am about to start a large PPC campaign and they wouild be losing lots of money if they didnt accepted me.
At least 50% of the ones that rejected me then accepted me so i belong to about 25 networks now

It's weird. I just applied to some new networks, using my long-standing, well-established ecommerce site and was rejected. Sheesh. Maybe I should just slap something else up. I've got dozens of sites... maybe I just reapply using one that's more crappy!

Now, THIS is interesting... Has this anything with HOW you apply? That is your filling of the various questionnaires and comments?

Could it be that you need to enhance EMAIL promotion OR PPC if your site is "thin"?

          Any other suggestions?

It also helps if you sign up through someone elses link that they know, then they can help "push" your app through. I have done this with a few myself.

In most cases if you contact a company after rejection and actually speak with someone, versus relying on the online form, you can get accepted. It also helps to know someone who is established with a given company. The volume of applications that the major CPA companies get is staggering these days; persistence and professionalism will get you in.

You need a site that looks like it has the type of propsects your CPA offer network is offering.

      Best wishes

Wouldn't that would be a good idea if you already knew what kind of offers are inside the Networks. My point is that I'm outside and would like to get in

Well, so far I feel that you guys are getting in with quite different approaches. I will try to make something generic (my business site), trying to show that I'm the IM business and an expert on PPC and Email marketing

...if I'm rejected I will call them and...well, you know..

Do you think that will work?

You don't need to be approved prior to seeing the offers of a
CPA network. Go to SAS, CJ or many others, they're all right
there for your review since no one expects an aff marketer to
blindly want to promote unknown offers.

Setup a professional looking insurance, educational, mortgage
or credit card site as most CPA networks have those types of
offers. It's really not that complex.

It all depends on CPA companies. cj is easy to join, but companies like cpastorm takes longer, or very difficult to join.

Each network is different when it comes to approval. An account manager for one of my networks told be that they're becoming more and more picky because of the huge numbers of people that have started inundating them with applications (I have a feeling that the success of the Arbitrage Conspiracy could have something to do with that).

Anyway, there's a lot you can do to dramatically improve your odds. First and foremost, though, is to talk, appear, and act like a professional. If you're setup properly and you answer their questions properly, you're just about guaranteed to get accepted.

You can contact the Merchant directly. In many cases they have their on in house program, and they pay you directly better than the large networks. Also, many of them offer complete sites, and all you'll need is the domain, or the PPC account

I personally created my own business site, and had no problems after that. I have applied and been accepted in Hydra, Affiliate.com and Neverblue so far.
This is my web page: www . virtualtrafficbrokers.co.cc

It always helps if you tell them that you are already member of other networks, that you have experience with internet marketing (or fake it till you make it), and tell them about the marketing methods you will be using. They also usually ask you about the type of offers you've had success with. In this case, just name them a few, such as ringtone offers, freebies, dating, etc.

    Hope it helps
    Good Luck!

what i normally do is tell that that i generate all my traffic directly through the landing page through adsense, youtube, and facebook. it will take a little bit of explaining, but they normally get it and accept you

Just set p a blog that looks some how ok and post some articles to it.
But you will have anyway to get to call them and talk about how you will get traffic. Just mention:
    ppc to cpa
    seo
building targeted lists and email marketing
    CoReg
    PPV
And tell them that you are not fooling around but actually dead serious and wanting to establish a business and not jus doing some hobby activity.

99% of the times, they will accept you.

Example: I used the following blog to get accepted without problems
Fitness Article Directory for Fitness & Weight loss
Just to show you how easy this can be.

Cubevisions was offering a coupon in the Private forum for Steady Niche, I don't know if he is still offering that or not. If he isn't I think the software is only like 10 bucks. Its a site about wii fit stuff. I have been accepted to 43 networks so far. Just act "competent" on the phone with people and you should have no problem.

I think the best thing to do is to apply for several networks at one time that way you get all the calls over with within a week and you don't have to worry about it.

I had a sports website that had nothing to do with cpa whatsoever and I told them I was more focused on PPC and email marketing. If they know you are going to flood the market with PPC they will let you in, because they can't lose if you do that.

      Hi Cody,

I've found if you can demonstrate you can create a simple landing page you're more likely to get accepted.

I'm a member of a few networks but I also got rejected by one or two.

When I got rejected I demonstrated to those networks that I could blog.

To create the landing page I used NVU, put a banner at the top of the page, wrote a review below that with a few links in it and then placed a banner at the bottom.

If you've got hosting and a commission junction account your halfway there.

You can probably find a few CPA offers on CJ you can use to demonstrate your ability.

Also calling the CPA networks and telling them you will drive traffic to their offers via PPC works wonders, tell them you're going to do an organic search campaign and they won't be impressed.

Try cpaempire (or affiliate dot com now) using this method and see how you get on.

      Best of luck.
