300 leads from so lo ads, but no sales?

Hi all warriors,
I bought 1000 clicks from solo ad last week, got 300 leads but none of them convert.
I checked aweber but have not noticed anything abnormal. T1% is 80% and those leads still receive my follow up regularly. My MMO offer converts at 2% so I am wondering if such traffic are fake or not and how can I spot them.
I use Hypertracker as my tracking tool.
Thank you

Paul, I just want to make sure I understand, OK?

You sell a MMO product and you convert at 2%, so does this mean if those 300 clicks came to you in your pre Solo buy, you would have gotten 6 sales?

Or is that 2% after a series of autoresponder emails?

What determines a "lead", how do you define it?

It doesn't sound that unusual to me, to get 300 clicks on a solo ad and zero sales, maybe it is your funnel? Or could be the solo ad provider, I don't think we have enough information to offer an informed decision.

Perhaps the solo ads that you bought were low quality?

make sure every time your purchase solo ads, look at the percentage of their SALES it should be higher than NO SALES percentage.. this is the first thing i look before buying solo ads in UDIMI

There are many reasons why you may not be generating sales. Could be the traffic isn't targeted to your offer or your followup process isn't optimized for conversions.

So you got 300 opt-ins? I would look at the email addresses that opted-in. Fake leads will have email extensions that are abnormal. They will not be gmail or any common one, it will be website extensions that are built for fast and make no sense.

In my experience and lots of testing, I find this to be the exact opposite.

Gmail are actually the most common "fake" addys.

This is where I have problem with lots of internet marketers. They are getting it all wrong.

They are looking for cheap clicks and o.ooo1 cent traffic sources, but forget the most important part of the equation. Which is...

Who is behind the traffic. In case of next time, find out who is behind the clicks... are they buyers? Are they marketers and what do they need?

Now... If you want to make money from that list... this is what you are going to do...

Warm them up, understand their needs then "Starve them" and they will beg you to buy.

By the way I wrote this some time ago i think you might find it helpful

Think about the email marketers you like to receive emails from, and think about why you like receiving them.

Then try to apply that to your own emails in a way that suits your personality.

Be authentic, be friendly and give them value. Ask them questions and encourage them to reply to get some engagement going.

Lots of people making lots of assumptions without enough information.

You got 300 opt ins and no sales. That's the only real fact we have to work with.

The only people who know for sure why they didn't buy are those 300 who opted in.

Why not ask them why they didn't buy? Just send them a simple email that says, "hey, buddy, I see you recently signed up for more information after getting my email about [whatever your offer was], but you didn't take my offer for [product]. May I ask why? Just hit reply, and please, be honest. You won't hurt my feelings."

Maybe your traffic isn't targeted that's why you can't generate any sales.
