i am having an issue, i did a few tests with fb ads and i found one that got alot of responses with one demographic combination, i created a post with a clickbank product that i really stand behind and i boosted it, its been getting shares and likes and 45 clicks, but NO conversions. how is this happening, not ONE conversion? im thinking there may be something wrong with the clickbank landing page? or my bridge page? Its a 3 day potty training method for children thriftwagon.com/potty . can someone take a look to see if there are any roadblocks preventing a conversion?

We would need more details to help or give advice. Best bet based off the information provided is expectations. You need more time and data to review the campaign.

Well maybe the clicks are not enough maybe you need more than 45 clicks

It may be that the landing page isn't what the viewer expected to see.... Sometimes ads can be a little misleading and give off a different message than intended, just a thought

Was the clickbank post related to what the prior great response was about? What did you target? That isn't many clicks. Not enough to test conversions unless you're really fortunate.

  • I had promoted the same product in Facebook ads few months before , as an average for 120 clicks i received one sale.
Due to less conversion I stopped promoting that niche in Facebook ads. try Bing ads it convert well.

Be very careful using Facebook Ads. I got banned for life after I used Paypal as a payment method. In the FB ads payment area they had the option to use Paypal so I opted to use that. They told me I broke their TOS by using Paypal, which is ridiculous as they had it as one of their payment options.

Tried to appeal, no good. They asked me to send in ID. I sent them passport ID but they said there was nothing they could do. At the time my account was 5 years old. I would avoid Facebook like the plague. They are illogical.

so, let me see if i understand this...
facebook said you can use paypal, it is one of their payment options...
      you get banned,

      ...because you used paypal?

that sounds really nuts, r u sure it wasnt any other reason? when you tried to appeal it, what was said to you?

That's what they told me in an email. They said by using Paypal I broke their terms of service despite the fact they had that option. Crazy I know. I emailed them asking how that's possible and they sent a standard "you are banned, nothing we can do" email. Tried an appeal but no luck there either. They never even responded to that. When my account was "suspended" they wanted my ID which was fair enough, so I emailed a scan of my passport but that didn't make the slightest bit of difference. Every time I sent my ID to them they said the same thing. So I gave up trying to contact them.

    hi Mcherch,
the last two weeks I was trying to promote the same product "potty training in 3 days" through facebook ads I paid 150 $ and collected about 275 lead "emails"
Yet I hadn't any conversion. There is nothing wrong with my ad nor my landing and I nearly had 50% opt-in rate. The product is expensive and not necessary, as any mother can potty train her children in her own. what do you think I should do ? do you found any alternative product I can use with the list Iam gathering ?

Hi from what I have learned lately is that people rarely buy from you the first time around what I would do if I were you is send all of those 275 leads some follow-up emails about the product usually from 4 to 7 emails and on the 7th email really push the product.

That's the beauty about having an email list, you can retarget them after your initial attempt as many times as you want also in my personal experience that product is really hard to get to convert for mothers and fathers it may be a gift that someone wants to buy a couple or grandparents want to get there grandchildren. Are there any products you have had success with this far besides the current one that you are struggling with?

I already have getresponse account and created 4 days email swipes, but with no success . It is my first attempt in the affiliate world, and I wasn't luckily enough yet. now I'm getting leads at 25 cent and It's hard to take a kill decision for such a good campaign, yet I can't keep spending without any success.
      I'm very perplexed .

      • Send different offers related to your target audience but dont just send emails making offers, build a relationship with your list by giving value

Also, you can try free signup deals on maxbounty, e.g. free nappies etc..

you need to follow up with them, it will sometimes take 10 emails before someone buys.

it might not be a good niche, niche selection is manditory on fb too. Perhaps they just will not buy this stuff. Where as people are posting pics of themself so diet and image improvement stuff does well.

Agreed - Need more follow up emails, dont stop till they buy!
