Problems With CPAlead.com

Is anyone else here having problems getting leads when you complete a surveys in your own control panel on CPAlead .com

I must of tried 15 different surveys, some I got paid for, others not. In all cases I got to the end results of each survey.

I'm just wondering if anyone else here has run into this problem? I mean if they wont convert to a lead when I know I've completed them correctly, whats to say they are when my visitors are completing them correctly.

I will contact my network rep about this and post it back here, but before I do I just wanted to know if this is a major problem for a lot of people.

I just started to work for them...
Are you actually saying that you completed the offers yourself?
You're supposed to make other people do it.
Even if you're trying to work out if it converts or not, that's not the right way... Just like with Adsense, you're not allowed to click on your ads.
(by the way, I think it says on the stats page that thye don't count your own visits)

    Hope this helped.

I wouldn't be completing the offers yourself because CPALead will find out eventually.

IMO you are wasting your time with surveys. Try doing Pay-Per-Lead and then sending PPC traffic to it. The margins are MUCH higher, whats what I do and it works out pretty well

So, you CAN take your own surveys?? Also, if not, is it okay to CLICK on the surveys and not take them to test click tracking?

Yes, its ok to do both. You can click and complete your own surveys, but remember, you must use your real information, or you could be banned from CPALead.

This would explain alot. Cpaleadtroy says this is indusrty wide and cpalead keeps only the best ratios in the business.

I believe it works like this... a survey with 20% conversion has 5 people fill it out fully and truthfully, even though the advertiser still gets those leads and starts to send emails and phone calls, you will only get paid for one of them.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
That is exactly right! I have learned a lot since first posting this thread, but what you just said nails it! Sometimes it can be even worse though. You might have even 10 or more actually completing the surveys correctly and you might only get paid on 1, or in some cases none. Its just the nature of the game.
I am sure there are networks out there that practice scrubbing, but I feel pretty confident in the testimonies of members and from speaking with people online that CPAlead is still by far one of the best (If not the best) CPA networks out there. I am glad to be a member =)

make sure all info is correct, do the first set..skip over every offer that you can, then when you get to the page that doesn't let you get any further click on one of the offers (it should be on the platinum page) as soon as you do that it should unlock without filling out anything more. If it doesn't go get a drink and come back...unlocked

Let me know how that worked for you.
I have had reports of the widget no unlocking after my visitors complete surveys, but in my last post, I was talking more about how often the surveys actually payout as opposed to unlocking. Thanks for the info though. It will come in handy when I complete my own surveys in the ASD panel.

They scrub a ton since most of their offers are incentive offers.

    Hello,
I have used content lockers at CPAlead and I started to track with logs when the user completed a survey and downloaded the content.

Guess what? These conversions never appeared, no money received and no even traces of the landing on the surverys.

So I have closed the account today.

I think their tracking system does not work and that this is intended. They didn't reply to inquiries, only occasionally after opening a number of tickets very spare conversions started to pop up from stats.

For a reputable link locker system to exist these conditions MUST be met:

    - each time a user lands on a survey, publisher MUST see it in the stats, so that I can at least test the links are working, and
    - each time there is aconversion, that is, when a user completes a survey and unlocks content, the publisher MUST be credited

It's clear that CPAlead is not a reliable partner.

Recommendation on alternatives are well appreciated.

    Morris
