1020 Clicks in 12 Hours with Maxbounty & No Conversion?

I started a campaign with max Bounty for the first time. Keyword focused (laser focused) and after 1020 clicks I haven't even had one single conversion.

With the main campaign being a one field email submit I'm really confused too. Though it only got 418 clickthroughs.

Is there a better converting network than this?

Please say there is lol.

I had the same problem yesterday with Maxbounty. I even asked a friend of mine to sign up for an one page submit offer to see if it converts. He completed two pages of the offer, yet it did not convert.

Well that's probably my problem then. Any other networks that actually convert that you can recommend?

Oh and were you using a URL shortener? As that's what I'm using.. maybe not a good idea?

According to MaxBounty, they are completely dependent on an advertiser identifying when a lead/sale is valid and I think all other CPA Networks as well. It all depends on the quality of the lead.

Some of my leads convert and some dont.

You will find quite a few threads in this forum on different CPA networks and how and when they pay. However I can't recommend another Network and say your conversions wont be scrubbed or shaved. Maybe somebody else will be able to recommend a Network with a better conversions rate.

There is a sticky thread in this forum on CPA Networks. You will also find a lot of reviews and comments on various CPA Networks in here. Maybe that will give a clue.

Sorry I cant be of any help.

I sometimes use a url shotener and sometimes I dont, but I dont think it will have any effect on your conversion rate.

I recommend Neverblue. I promote email submits with them and they don't scrub a lot.

However, I'm not saying that MaxBounty is scrubbing your leads. I have never promoted email/zip submits with them, so I'm can't give you an opinion.

Not every email submit converts on the first page even if it says it. Most of them convert 3-5 pages down the line so, if he just puts in his info and then nothing happens, that's probably why.

Maxbounty is a GREAT network and they don't scrub that much. In fact, I only work with a few networks now because I got sick of the little ones doing shady things. One of the few networks I work with is Maxbounty.

There are a TON of variables we don't know about to be able to determine why no conversions. Your problem doesn't seem like a network problem, it seems like a targeting problem and a landing page problem. You might need to get an extensive course on landing pages and advertising training.

Man. are you being serious? What other guru-courses and cheesy training do you want to sell him that's better than what he already has? Someone just said that he actually asked a friend to literally complete an offer yet it did not convert. And you had the nerve to EXPLAIN that scenario away.

Are you saying that it is now possible to access an offer landing page from an IP that's outside the pre-targeted geo location? Please stop propagating error or fraud. Folks PAY MONEY (yes I do, on FB and elsewhere) to get the traffic. The least these networks and their clients can do is to be HONEST, KEEP TO THEIR WORD and convert a visit that performs the stipulated action. Saying anything otherwise is simply being immoral and fraudulent with impunity. This is the same reason many affiliates would go to the other extreme to defraud networks.

Please we need sanity and integrity in this so called CPA industry.

      Hey Intrepreneur,

Had the EXACT same problem a while back. I was getting somewhere around 900+ clicks to my offer without ANY conversions. So I joined Neverblue and it has literally been like night and day. I sent the exact same traffic that I was sending to an iPad e-mail submit offer on Maxbounty, to an almost identical iPad e-mail submit on Neverblue, and I was getting around 20-25 conversions per day.

Not saying that Maxbounty is doing anything illegal or shady, but I definitely like Neverblue a lot more ! Hope that helps!

      Best of Luck,

      CPABrainstormer

Now switched the campaign over to Neverblue as they have the same offer. 3 clicks so far. Will update after the 1k again.

I am starting to hear some negative comments about maxbounty. I was a member before but dropped them after experiencing the same problem. My total average conversion rate with peerfly is around 8%. Other campaigns even having 20% to 35%.... and I never used PPC... just targeted SEO...

I had good experience with MaxBounty in the past... but I must say that I'm too finding more difficult to convert traffic into leads with it.

One thing: You mention super targeted traffic. From where is the traffic coming?
Are you sure it is super targeted?

our network gets approximately 30k to 45k clicks per day and leads come 200 to 250 only so traffic quality is must in order to generate leads .

I am surprised to hear this. I have run a few email submits with Maxbounty and for me they have always converted reasonably as expected, depending on how junky vs targeted traffic I have sent... Maybe the problem has been the offer owner rather than Maxbounty? Personally I have never had reason to suspect any shady business by Maxbounty.

I think they just pick certain accounts to screw over. They have plausible deniability that way. I have have driven over 5k hits to various offers at Max Bounty, damn good traffic. 1 conversion.

I think all email submits get scrubbed at some point, either by the advertiser or the network. I have had offers that converted at .30 -.40epc one day and .10epc the next. Then as soon as the clock hit 12am, then it started converting back at 30 - 40epc.

I was having issues a few weeks ago with this too
I am with MB but have a fairly dormant account
Last month I sent about 1000 clicks to various offers some direct linking some not but got no leads
I assumed it had something to do with my traffic source
I may take an other look at it

    Same here,

I don't know what's going on here but I sent in traffic that converted well on another network and got 0 conversions from Maxbounty after about 100 clicks so I dropped them. That same 100 clicks would've gotten me around 10-15 leads on the other network. Not cool at all.

A lot of the time, advertisers will set certain scrub rates for different networks. Network A might be sending traffic that produces better leads than Network B, so they put a higher scrub on Network B. Even if you send good quality traffic, you'll get scrubbed more when you send it through network B.

Networks also can have drastically different payouts. So it would make sense that some get scrubbed more than others. You just need to assume, when running email submits that, you aren't getting credit for every lead you generate. If an offer doesn't convert, switch to another one.

they are the only CPA company I have been with
In the past other campaigns worked fine

Until February this year my campaigns on average converted at a bout 10% (email submits) but lately nothing
I am about to do a small dating test on them and see if that has any luck (I will be using a landing page) If that fails I might look for an alternative

That is bad idea, just pay for hosting. But unlikely effecting your conversions.

    What is your traffic source?

Also have you tested another offer?

Also why did you send so much traffic it wasn't converting?

    Thanks!

Everyone's going to scrub.. if you don't have quality traffic your leads will not convert. Maxbounty is a great network and this will happen anywhere you go if your traffic is crap. As much as it depends on the cpa network, it also depends on the traffic source. I have been using max bounty, peerfly and cpaway. Cpaway converts really well when I was doing email submits.

It is 100% because it is an email submit. They scrub at minimum 80% of these leads.

The reasoning is if any email has been entered into that system before, from anyone, anywhere, they will not count it as a lead.

      Scrubs:

IP geolocation, if you enter info on the follow up question that does not match location you will be scrubbed.

Not making it past the first page will be scrub (for some email submits not all, some are truly first page)

      Email is invalid

      User already in system.

User is not profitable (This is for some email submits, some it is not the case)

I wouldn't call that scrubbing. Why would they pay you for information they already have? It's just common sense..

You guys really gotta stop promoting anything pay-per-sale based ... and stick to pay per LEAD! Higher payouts and sooo much easier to convert. Also, start looking for private deals, you get better commissions this way by cutting out the middleman.

Works like a charm in the UK and that's what I do all day ... any questions just let me know

Have you waited an adequate amount of time for the leads to update? That might be what the issue is. Just as it was posted a couple years ago in this same thread for a similar issue, it's usually not an issue with the network. If the problem persists you should contact your Affiliate Manager at MaxBounty. If you need some assistance in getting in touch with them, feel free to PM me your Affiliate ID# and I'll let them know.

      Cheers.

Depending on what the offer is, you could try solo ads, but it's only effective in certain niches. If you try solo ads, you should run it through a squeeze page before sending people to the offer.
