Can I lower my ppc in Google Adwords by Increasing my Daily Spend?

Hello fellow warriors,

Just wondering if anyone has done this. I'm currently paying 3 cents per click for display ads on the content network.

I know that the more you spend per day, the more impressions Google shows. I'd like to get my cost per click down to 2 cents or even 1 cent but when I previously tried to go down to 2 cents, the impressions went way down.

Any thoughts on this topic anyone?

Thanks,
Edward

Fellow-warrior Joseph Then ran a WSO recently regarding 2-cent clicks...you may want to get in touch with him. I am not advising you to buy this, just offering that info to you.

Also, you might get a better response from the CPA forum here as those guys seem to know this topic really well:

I agree, quality score will dictate your CPC bid cost. I don't believe that your daily ad spend will have any effect on your costs there.

An easy way around this is to ask for a pay bump from the CPA networks... They will be much easier to deal with then google!

Pay less for your clicks or get paid form for the offer... Pretty much the same.

I had some great luck with a fantastic method that is free, powerful and really works...still to this day.

(I previously had a reference to my signaure here. Apparently that is "bad form." I got my hand slapped. So I edited out the reference to my signature--unless this is still a reference. Dang! I'll probably get sent to the detention center now.)

      See my sig.

        Sorry to have annoyed you.

If you DON'T want to be on my list add this to the SlashAdwordsCosts link in my sig:

        /joined.html .

That way you can get the information without actually joining my list.

Fair warning: This is NOT my method. I got it FREE from Matt Trainer. But you'll have to join his list to get the report.

The report is AWESOME and following the strategy in it saves me about $20,000 per month on my Adwords bill.

Matt Trainer is cool and won't slam you with emails every day. (Of course there's always that handy UNSUBSCRIBE thing you can do.)

I am NOT an affiliate of Matt's. I just really respect him. He is extremely sharp and I know that lots of people making big money online pay him for consulting.

If you use Adwords, you need to know Matt's strategies. I mean come on, it's FREE!

Also, if you want more information without subscribing to ANY list, watch the video were I originally found out about this on Frank Kern's blog. The video is cool. masscontrolsite. com/blog/?p=29

Honestly, this is really good stuff that is totally free.

Again, please excuse my lame attempt to start building a list of my own.

Thank you for offering the information you just posted.

Now to address your cynicism which is sprinkled throughout that post. It's not about whether I or anyone else wants to join your list or not. The Warrior Forum is known for the helpful people that come here regularly and share information. Lots of times the information shared could have easily been packaged and sold as an info product. I've seen many posts that were far more valuable than something I've paid $27 or more for.

Also, to be quite honest with you, you look like a spammer when you just say "check out the link in my sig." This is Forum Posting 101. Yet, when you post useful info like you just did (absent the cynical comments), it shows other Warriors that you know what you are talking about and that alone will inspire others to join your list (and you build a reputation). You see, you can build your list by inspiring people to join, or you can build your list by forcing people to join...which list do you think would be more responsive?

My apologies to the OP for hijacking this thread.

Cynicism? I can't even try to make amends without being attacked. The only thing I can think you are referring to is my last sentence. But I really WAS admitting that I was being lame. Good grief, some of you guys in this forum are EXTREMELY sensitive.

Saying that your post was sprinkled with cynicism is the same as attacking you? Now who's being sensitive?

I was simply trying to help you learn how not to be a forum spammer and how to better build your list...that's hardly attacking you.

Oh, and I now see your new sig:
My signature was previously WAY to controversial for this forum. I actually had a website with an affiliate link! (Oh the shame.)
              That's just being a smart-ass, or rather...well, nevermind.

Getting CPC at 1 or 2 cents will be difficult even on content search. Create new campaign with your ad keyword, new ad group with the keyword and create one or two keywords only. Modify your title and description, display page and see if you can get improvement in Quality score!

You might also want to edit your landing page(s) as well to improve your QS.
