Earnings per click across the network. A way to tell what the best converting offers are, but I'm not so keen on that exactly...

If you're trying to pinpoint, shoot me a PM

So if something has an EPC of $0.30 what does that mean exactly?

Gawd I've been dying to know as well. I've had zero success with MB. There have been a lot of clicks and leads but no sale just yet. I was wondering if a click can earn even a fraction of a cent

I am confused, do you get paid per person that completes the form and pays the postage or if a sale is made?

If a sale is made, I believe. In some of the offers, I noticed that a sale is considered a closed deal when your customer pays via credit card.

The EPC is earnings per click, everyone pretty much explained that... But It is not what they are paying you just for the click... For example, they will not pay you .30 every time a person clicks a link. That is really a nice way for them to show how much you could make per click. But if they say the EPC for an offer is .10... You may run traffic that is really good and you EPC would be higher..... If you have a 1.00 pay out and you have a 50% convertion rate, then you would have a .50 cent EPC.

I remember when I FIRST started with CPA I thought that they would pay me that much money when a person clicked my link! I wish! But no that is not what it is!

    Hope that helps a bit!

    Thanks,

    Micah Rush

    MicahF7 is Right. Thanks.

    What's EPC?
EPC stands for Earnings Per Click and is displayed on all network campaigns. It's a computed average income publishers are earnings on a given campaign calculated on a per-click basis. This number isn't a guarantee of how much a publisher will earn by advertising a campaign but is simply a tool for publishers to gauge their potential interest in advertising a campaign and measuring their conversion compared to the average across the network.

MaxBounty is great, so congrats on getting your account approved/activated. The EPC really varies on the offer and your traffic. Their website has been down almost all day though - I wish they'd get it back up!

EPC stands for Earnings Per Click. The number you see underneath EPC next to a MaxBounty campaign represents the average earnings every affiliate running that campaign has earned relative to the amount of clicks received. Keep that in mind and how it differs from a conversion rate.
