Hi guys.. I have an issue that I want to share with you so see if you can help me.

In December I was accepted by Max Bounty, so since then I have been trying some of the free stuff offers, but they seem not to convert. I have been learning some things in the forum that I have been applied. I've been running some Adwords campaigns with little success. I have made just $16 in the last 3 weeks. I have tried Free xbox, free TV, Free laptop, and so on.

That being said, let me explain to you how things are for me right now. Yesterday, I have found some keywords, really good ones. I set up an Adwords campaign with $10 daily limit just to try things first, the results were awesome. I had 7199 impressions, 183 clicks, an average of 5 cents per click, for a really nice CTR of 2.54%.

That means 183 people going to my landing page. In my Max Bounty stats says that with this campaign 84 people went from my landing page to the offer page. That is 45.9%, I don't know but I consider this really good too... BUT!!!! Guess how many conversions???

NOOOOONEEEEEE!!!!!!

What?? I mean whaaat??? Zero?? How is that possible??? do you have any clue of what is going on??? Because I think that there is no way I can do things better. My statics say it all...

Any suggestions???

Thanks

Did you try the offers yourself to see what happened?

I always do a test run myself to see that all is working.

Just like with Clickbank. I always do a test run to make
sure all the links are coming to me.

    Just a thought.

Yes, all the links are ok. The issue is that the offer itself does not convert. People get there, but no leads for me.

      Thanks though

I don't know about that because, if that was true, people wouldn't even click on the ads, read the landing page and go to the offer page.

      Any other suggestions?

You can still be having a lot of tyre kickers, however with 84 uniques on simple zip subs you should be getting a few sales yes.

Did you try running a test yourself see if your account was credited?

Is it ok to do that? Is there any risks to be busted by Maxbounty and expelled by the network?

i think you may be offering too many "free" Things so that when these freebie surfers finally get to the offer page they just click out

Maybe the keywords you came up with are driving targeted enough traffic. I would reevaluate those and try to make sure people clicking through aren't expecting something else because that would be a good way to get no conversions even on a zip/email submit.

I would have to respectfully disagree.
This is not allowed by any CPA networks that I know of.

If you can find an AM who would say otherwise, I'd be very surprised.

To the OP -those particular offers you mentioned are very far from 'free'. Those are some of the most 'jump thru 50 hoops' offers that you can possibly find.

I've been doing a lot of research on how to increase my conversions with my 'freebie' site that utilizes many cpa networks....Maxbounty, Neverblue, Hydra, etc etc.
I'm sure there are many, many successful people out there that can actually convert these with legit methods, but most of what I read is that the real players in this market are using what THEY call 'blackhat' methods, and what I would call outright fraud. They get the users to sign up for some sort of simple newsletter or something, and then use background scripts that automatically forward this info to the CPA offers, fooling the networks into thinking the original visitor actually intended to sign up for these.

I'm no CPA expert, but 84 clicks to the kind of offers you mentioned is totally insignificant...look at it this way...would you personally sign up for one of those 'free laptop' offers? No, because you probably know whats actually involved to get these supposed 'free' products, and I think the general public is now aware of this as well. Might have been different 5 years ago.

For the offers you mentioned, I'd have to guess it takes a heck of a lot more volume than that, or some really shady tactics.

I don't think so, because in the ad, I say there is a free gift involved, Laptop, Xbox, anything that is.

I know that actually, in fact as I wrote, I had a $10 a day spending limit to try the keywords. But I guess I could have got at least 4 o 5 leads out 84 to call it even, but not one at all? I mean, come on!

Well guys thanks for your advice. I'll keep trying. This is not over

keep trying man and see, if you don't get a sale, choose other products. Think if the product is really useful for you before promoting it and you will get sales.
        good luck

Why don't you try promoting some higher ticket items that a niche group of people will find value in and will result in higher commissions for you?

    Saiyan11,

Since everybody else here is throwing in their 2 cents I thought I would too. You may want to change offers. Try different ones. I was driving organic traffic to an offer and it never converted even after 150 clicks. I searched for a new offer for basically the same thing and started getting some sales. When I looked at both offers it seemed one was more pleasing to the eye than the other. Other than that I could not figure out why the first one didn't convert.

    Good Luck!

As mentioned above I would try this in another niche or with a another offer. Those free laptop, free Xbox 360, free Wii, etc. are becoming more and more well known, and people are sick of them and associate them with scams. Even though some work, they still just are associated with it. So the people are probably hoping to find something different when they get to your landing page, but then find out it is the same old offer. I would consider another niche.

Great job on testing and those are really good numbers to be getting the 5 cents per click.

You should really tailor your offer to that precise target market that will not only convert but will thank you for sending them there! Try more offers that compliment an existing product, service, or problem that people may be having.
I'm going to do it sometime, but due to the fact that I'm just learning I decided to try free stuff first, that in theory should be easier to convert.

When I looked at both offers it seemed one was more pleasing to the eye than the other
That makes a lot of sense

Yes, maby. But I think it has to be that I'm driving the wrong traffic, like someone said before, because in the case of the free laptop, MB says that has a $0.62 of EPC. That means that with the traffic I have sent to it until now, I should have earned $47 out of it, but nothing.

Did you target y our adwords to U.S only?
Yes I do, Just US traffic

This has been an interesting thread so far

I have had the same issue with no conversion or very low conversion. I recently started looking at creating my own list to bringing targeted traffic to me by offering free information! beats adwords and cost less to develop

How can you prove that a CPA network is scrubbing your leads?
I've run into a bad streak myself with NO conversions at all in the past three weeks. 132 clicks on Yahoo, and 212 clicks on Google.
And I've got zippety do dah!

I think that you have to know how to pick better offers that will convert. If it is something that you yourself would never complete, then it is possible that other people would think the same thing. I am working on this myself.

Do you know what the weird thing is? The offer I was using had the 5th best EPC in the free stuff category and the 10th best EPC of the entire network. So...
