CPA affiliate link issues, Peerfly, MB

I seem to be having some issues with my CPA affiliate links and although I've emailed my affiliate managers, was hoping someone here might have some insight as well.

I haven't been involved in CPA for a couple of years now and although this seems very odd to me, maybe I'm just not aware of some process?

I was setting up to start testing my first offer when my antivirus started claiming my affiliate links were malware.

Knowing that this isn't the case and that sometimes this just happens with
some CPA links, I turned off my antivirus and went to check out the link
anyway. Turns out that all my affiliate links are redirecting to random
survey pages, etc.

Now I may be a little bit daft here, (which is entirely possible!), but I
can't understand why my link isn't going to the offer, despite the browser
or machine I use.

For example: My peerfly links:

http://trkur.com/trk?o=whateverstuff

resolves to

http://sensurvey.net/morestuffhereetc

instead of the offer that I'm attempting to target.

This happens with my MaxBounty affiliate links as well but not with any other website or with the direct links to the landing pages.

Very much hoping someone will tell me that this is a normal CPA newbie concern!

Any thoughts?

    maybe you use offerscraper.com
you can copy your links from there
    after registering

at least you'll make no mistakes in creating the link incl subid

    and you may check
    OfferMonitor.com

where you can see the redirect that is happening
    with your aff links
    and see a sreenshot

so you are at least sure its not your PC that causes trouble

Great suggestion, thank you I'm starting to think this is a proxy issue (for country specific offers) combined with my antivirus picking up the CPA links as malware.

Yep ... I've found that redirecting to unexpected pages occurs when the offer isn't available for my country. As an Aussie, happens all the time for US based offers.

Yeah its a country thing.. example : lets say your offer is only available for people in the US , if people from China visit your site they will be redirected to one of those survey pages.

Agreed - this has need to be geotargeting, you can get a proxy or VPN and you should be good

Try anonymox addon for firefox when previewing offers.

What everyone else has said is basically correct. If you try to view a PeerFly offer from outside of the offer's Allowed Countries you will be automatically redirected to our redirect page. You should have no problem viewing the offers if you use the View Landing Page link on the offer page and a US proxy.

Proxy.org is a good source for free US proxies. I have more information on this article:
Use a Proxy to View Landing Pages

Just find a good cheap VPN proxy. I would suggest paying for one, they are much more reliable.

    I like StrongVPN.com

NO. That cannot be the cause, at least not solely. I am in the US viewing my US offer links and they take me to other network offers that I have active. It has to be my pc because the issue is with multiple affilate networks. Still researching the issue .....
