Bing account got closed.

I signed up last night, added payment info and a $200 voucher.

This morning, I set up 2 campaigns (and followed all the guidelines), and then they closed my account without warning. Phone calls later, even after speaking to a supervisor, I've gotten nowhere. I bought the voucher for $25 from Fiverr, it was accepted fine, and now I'm $25 in the hole for no apparent reason.

My campaigns didn't even start, they were paused the whole time...

Idk, any suggestions? I've had terrible luck with 7search.

    hey there,

I'm very experienced with that, and can tell you exactly what happened ...

The reason your account was closed is because you added a $200 from fiverr ...

They really dislike those that find a way of using unauthorized coupons, and shut accounts immediately without question ...

Here's a great tip I learned before.... build credibilty in the bing account first before applying any type of "bought" coupon... they prioritize accounts with great spending history, and will do everything in their power to keep you as a client

Other than that, applying coupons to a brand new account will most likely risk you of shut down.

The only way you can start advertising with them again is to have a friend sign up with their information & credit card/paypal .... and just pay them when u need to load up....

Don't even attempt to try recreate an account with a fake name, etc. They check everything! They check address, credit card info, e-mail, First & Last name. If they find any fraud or negative history, they close it down immediately.

But if you can have a friend that will be your middle man, and you just pay them back, then you're all good!

    That makes sense.

I'm not sure if I even want to get into Bing anymore. I mean, I might be able to sign my Fiancee up, but idk.

What other PPC networks do you have luck with? I completely bombed 7search.

Bing Ads is does horrible job with its coupons, it seems any kind you try to ad can lead to your account getting banned.

    Disappointing.

I am a long-term satisfied customer of Bing Ads and the whole trick is to save up some money and invest that 'real money' with them. In business, you need money to make money. Don't expect to use free bing ads coupons to generate affiliate commissions without Bing getting anything in return.
I personally think those coupons are for legitimate 'brick-and-mortar' type businesses trying to get an online presence!

yup. Fiverr promo codes can get your account banned. I have experience with adwords. What you can do is sign up at some webhosting service which provides you with a coupon, like hostgator first month for only a cent or something. Get the code - create your campaign and then cancel your account at hostgator.

Has anyone had any success in getting another account? I think this is why I got banned, but seems weird since I got the voucher from Bing themselves.

Seems a very strange way to treat potential customers IMO.

Its a shame because I was actually very impressed with the traffic.

I've created new accounts with no issues before, from the same IP.

Last time I did this was about 1 year ago, so they may have changed policies.

I got my account banned after $200 code from Fiverr as well. I now see that with that same gig, the $200 code is "temporarily out of stock".

From what I have been reading, Bing will let you create a new account with all of your same details, but you can't use any codes. You have to spend your own money and you will be fine.

If you want to use codes again, you're going to have to use a whole new set of details (credit card number, name, ip address, etc).

Yes, Bing Ads has been adding a lot of new featuring and making some amazing improvements. (Check out their blog for more info.) But unfortunately at the end of the day Google has all the volume, so even if they had a sub-par interface, they would still be the #1 choice.

I got my Bing Ads account closed too but I didn't try to use any vouchers. So they closed my account with out any proper explanation but the only thing I can think of is that I had campaign running which had a lander with fake reporter and some big company logos. The funny thing is that I was running this campaign for a couple of month with no problem but then I started to scale my campaign by spending $1000 a day. I remember it was only 2 days and they shut me down.
Bing ads is definitely good traffic source. I miss it a lot

So you ran an advertorial and got banned?

    That is not shocking.

Cloakers use advertorials and they probably thought you were cloaking.

They are getting better at spotting cloakers. Just open up a new one and keep going.

I know this is an old post but I just ran into this last night. Opened a bing account and didnt even set anything up Only started researching keywords... couple hours later the account was suspended. The rep couldn't give me an answer and I know I have not done anything wrong as I haven't done anything with the account. Seems very strange to me.

Well that seems scary to me, as I haven't seen that happen to anyone till date. Chances are that you might have created a 2nd account by mistake?
