I've found that the network epc is (usually) meaningless, at least to me. Same with the network conversion rate. At the moment I'm promoting an offer with a network epc of 14c and a network conversion rate of about 5%, but am getting an epc of 60c and 20% conversion rate myself. Another time I was promoting an offer with a network epc of 0.03 and my epc was about 0.15.

All you can really do is try it out yourself and see if it works.

Agreed testing, testing and more testing....you need to find what works for you. Testing in a structured way will help you increase your income.

      Good luck

Network epc means jack sh*t. There are thousands of marketers and they wont all get the same results, meaning the EPC will be screwed.

At the end of the day it depends on the offer and your target audience then going a bit further, how you interact with them.

If you see an offer that has that small of an EPC then I would actually go for it because all the inexperienced guys wont give it a 2nd look for that very reason and therefore the market wont be saturated with that exact offer. Obviously it has to be a good offer to begin with lol

EPC doesn't mean anything, think of it this way someone could be promoting an offer using PPV and got 1,000 clicks for $5 for example and they made 3 email submit conversions out of those clicks and the offer only pays $2 per email submit, this means they made $1 profit which is good but as you can see their EPC will be shocking YET they still made money!

      Hi J Burgess,

I was also thinking along the same lines.
but is it possible to get 1000 views for $5 in PPV? I am running offers with leadimpact and i am paying between 0.015 to 0.04 there. by the way, thanks for your insight.

0.00 EPC offers are some of my favorites. It means there is little to no competition on the PPC networks.

The network EPC isn't a metric that you can always trust. Often times my EPC is way different than the network's EPC. If the offer looks good and suitable for your traffic source, give it a shot.

I never trust or read much into network epcs. Having a network epc of 0 wouldn't deter me from promoting an offer.

The offer may just be new on the network, you should check with your AM.

Personally I would only promote offers that pay per lead or per acquisition/enquiry/call-in (not sale mind you!). Something with 0.00 epc would be a red flag for me ... but then again I never promote anything on a per-click basis with an affiliate link anymore Its all host and post and CPL via my own sites these days. I would highly recommend you look into this kind of marketing as well as you get soooo much more control over everything.

Any questions just let me know,
