Launched First TeeSpring Campaign

Hello,

I have launched the first Teespring campaign. Which is a niche of Fishing.

I am using Facebook News Feed ads as the traffic source.

CTR: 2.6% and Social Reach: 3000.

Country: USA
Gender: Female
Age: 18-54
Added some precise interest related to Fishing.

But I generated no sale. What to do?

P.S.: I followed each and everything mentioned in the FBClassRoom Guide. (Pretty Good Guide).

Thanks!

Change the design and try out. Design matter a lot and you did the right audience i guess

Well, As my niche is Fishing. I think this is not working. Because I saw only 1 out of 30 Campaigns of Fishing Niche are working. So can you tell me which niche is best to try?

      Thanks

Go with the hype. E.g at the moment there's much happening in Russia and Ukraine. You could create some t-shirts related to that.

The person you want to follow regarding FB ads tweaking is Don Wilson. The man is the one who cracked the FB ads code basically and parlayed that into t-shirt success as well.

    His page is https://www.facebook.com/MarketingWithDon .

Ben Adkins is also well known in this niche - The Official Blog of Dr. Ben Adkins | Serial Progress Seeker

    Hope that helps!

Great advice from barbling above. Also, did you check to see what is selling now on Teespring? You can also check other companies, like zazzle, that sell tshirts to get ideas.

You have to test several ads so it can cost money before you make it.

Look into your demographics. Who is actually buying t-shirts online and why? Are women 18 - 54 (which seems super broad, and generally people around 18 - 25 aren't buying much anyways, student debts and whatnot) that are interested in fishing going to buy a shirt about fishing just because you show them that ad. I don't imagine so. You have to give people a reason to want to support that shirt.

A good example from way back when was Twilight. Team Jacob vs Team Edward. I know a few people who sold shirts like that that made millions from it!

Well, Here is a whole new turn. I turned off the ads (Almost 35 Hours Ago) but I made a sale just now on Teespring..

I don't know how but... I am not able to make a decision if I should continue ads again or I should drop?

    Thanks

This is great! Congrats on selling your shirt. Im assuming you spent about $10-$15 on advertising already with 3000 people reach. You probably dont break even yet and its fine.
The one problem I see is that you don't know who bought your shirt. Like Justin said, the older crowd is most likely to buy your shirt (I havent seen the design but usually old people have more disposable money to spend) So if I were to keep going with this shirt and your audience is big enough to split age group, id split test age like this: 18-28, 29-38, 39-48, 49-58, 58-max

If your audience is too small to split age group, id split test directly different ads copy and different images to improve conversion. I'd spend 1x to 2x profits on all those test combined to see if i can get another sale. If id made a sale id keep tweaking, if not id drop it and go to the next shirt.

I spent around 20 USD.. For that.. I will try to do the split testing now.....

If you use conversion tracking, you can see the details on Facebook Ads Reporting. Including Age, Gender, Country etc.

Hi guys, I just signed up here and I was wondering if anyone could please help me with some campaign advice. I am running a campaign and the shirt says "I May Live in Florida But Im Always In (then outline out florida) Red Sox Nation.

I took a small spin off another successful campaign...maybe a mistake.

However, i have almost a 4% clickthrough rate and I am doing boosted posts as facebook never seems to show my ad when I do clicks to website.

Here is a pic of my stats (audience size about 7200)

Should i stop this campaign..i have heard wait until 100 clicks but it just seems to only interest people at the moment and i have no sales.

I have also split test. Thank you .

$20 or 100 clicks is my benchmark.

May I ask if you scraped your audience? Since 7,200 sounds very specific.

You do have to remember because this idea was taken off a popular series, you might be competing with people who are doing the same shirt, targeting the same people.

Also one thing is the design itself seems a little messy.

      Keep at it

honestly, that graphic is terrible. you may want to spend a little more time on the tshirt design/word play. work on the tshirt design itself more, and you'll do fine.
