I hear a lot about Adsense not liking affiliate websites. Our website is an Amazon website. Is there an alternative that would work better in our website? Our website is only getting about 6,000 visitors / month right now. Still not converting though. Hoping to continue increasing traffic.
Thanks

Try creating your own product to sell to compliment your affiliate/adsense earnings, it's always good to diversify your income streams

It is my question too. How do you compare Bing/Yahoo Ads, BuySellAds and Chitika to Adsense? ROI? Pool of Ads? etc...

You aren't making enough from Amazon that you have to put Google Adsense (or an alternative). Why not work on the site so it can be fully monetized with Amazon.

There is no such good alternatives for adsense, because CPC of other networks is quite very low and it will ruins your earning if you are a small publisher. Better stick with affiliate marketing.

    Buysellads
    infolinks
    chitika

they all are good alternative to Google Adsense but instead of using PPC use affiliate links where earning potential is high.

I would also go with Amazon. Forget all those ads, Adsense was good a few years ago, but now... Also, I tried BuySellAds and I see that the websites there have more than 100,000 visitors per month, so in most cases you should have a really big site to use them...

As usual I don't think that anyone can beat Google adsense. But if you want to take another website then go for chitika or infolinks.

Alternatives to Adsense is Chitika, Infolinks, SuperLinks. I am using Infolinks on my blog and I am earning pretty decent money, though not something to blast about.

You can use BuySellAds as well to get some direct advertisers but they will charge some commission.

I'm currently using Media.net (Bing/Yahoo ads) with Adsense. I have Adsense in the premium placements, but I'm generating some okay revenue from Media.net given I'm using one unit at the bottom of my site.

I really like the Media.net ad units and how they display, but some of the units require two clicks in order to generate revenue. I suspect Media.net will increase in popularity with advertisers in the long run, but it doesn't earn nearly as well as Adsense.

Yeah those 2-click ads will kill a lot of earnings for publishers. Visitors are simply lazy about clicking twice. This is the major drawback I see with Medianet, but it can work well for some niches.

Chitika is well if you have more than 80% traffic from US otherwise not.

Buysell ad is best and better than adsense. But you have a poor traffic. You need minimum 15000 visitors / month to get approval.

Media.net is the only valid alternative to Adsense,

I think Yahoo/Bing ads is one of the alternative solution. One of my classifieds once used AdMedia.com (Yahoo), at least they pay. Strict policy as Adsense though.
If you have extra spaces, there are some content-style ad networks that also offer PPC.

Adsense is outstandingly good for start-ups and small web sites. There is no better alternative to learn & experiment & improve your skills until your website is large enough to become attractive for serious alternatives such as Media.net.

Size really matters No sense to waste your time and shop around until 10,000 page views per day have been reached.

honestly, there is no adsense equivalent alternative but if you get banned from it chitika or infolinks or adbrite can be okay but its still better to start a new domain and reapply.
