Need advice on CPM network

Hello,

Need some advice from fellow warriors on choosing a CPM network. I own a Tech blog which gets roughly 2500 unique visitors per day. I haven't monetized the blog so far with any advertising network apart from Themeforest affiliate program.

I've done some research on leading CPM networks but have seen mixed reviews on the web. So, am bit confused as to which network would give me "optimal" results.

Please note that i can't use Adsense on this blog as some of the content is curated. I'm not restricting myself to CPM but am open for CPC or any other avenue which could bring in extra 200$ per month in addition to what the site is currently making.

I would like to get some guidance from warriors who own a similar blog or know of good monetization source. Any help would be appreciated!

TIA

Have you tried placing some CPL/CPA offers on your site which are tech related? Casino, Amazon or Finance related offers might bring you way above your $200 a month mark considering you already have the traffic.

I found CPA/CPL always to be about 5x superior to the CPM model for monetizing any traffic source.

    Any questions just fire away

      Hi Nick,

I've already placed CPA banners from Themeforest which isn't giving me any decent income. The current income is from affiliate links within the posts which bring in around 500$ per month.

So, am bit skeptical if CPA banners from Casino, Finance will do any good for me considering that i already have tech related banners on my site & they are not performing well.

Although i agree with you that CPA is way better than CPM but i haven't seen the desired results.

      Thanks

you should know your audience, what kind of audiences are they and what are the products they might be interested on. Then find an affiliate offer and place the banners in your site.

And if you are considering CPM network, then i would suggest Tribalfusion or Conversant, they pay very high cpm's depending upon the quality of your content. But in order to get approved, you should have good quality content and certain number of monthly visitors.

Here is what I would consider doing...

    - You'll get some good CPM network ideas from posters in this thread. Split test between them to find the best, or trying using more than one. You never know which exact CPM network is going to be the best for you until your test it, but you can usually get some great ideas of what to test.

    - Try applying to some affiliate programs like Amazon Associate, you could do product overviews and reviews and link them to the product. Those cookies can really ad up over time.

    - Try starting a simple video show, you could even hire someone off Fiverr if you are camera shy. You could product overviews or just have the discuss news. You could generate youtube ad revenue and get a lot of traffic as well.

Hope that gives you some ideas.
