adwords display not spending

Hi, I'm having a weird issue on Google Adwords display network. One of my campaigns was running great on 160$/day budget but last 3 days it spends only around 55$, what could be the issue?

Are you still getting the same number of clicks? (I don't see why you'll complain if you're still receiving the same amount of clicks.lol!)

If less than the usual it could be:

    1. Someone bid higher than you that's why you're ads are not being displayed much.
    2. Your ad copy is no longer effective given the fact that you had it running for three days. You can try changing your ad copy if it's the case.

Check your bids on your keywords. If the bids are lower than your competitors than make your bid higher.

@John where did I said i get same amount of clicks, I don't. Ad shows I get placement n1 for that bid. 2. What the ad copy has anything to do with budget, I still get same CTR on it.

@vishwa I don't do keywords targeting this is display network.

You didn't. It was a joke. And number 2, you didn't specify your CTR. How the hell should I know!?

You asked for help. I gave you well informed reasons as to why and this is how you respond?

      Talk about being nice...

In troubleshooting Adwords account performance, start by narrowing down the possible reasons for it through the following steps:

    * In the account, try to determine the exact day the problem started. Do this by customizing the performance data in your statistics table, to show the proper statistics. Here's a Google help page for that, if needed: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2454067?hl=en

    * Go to: Tools > Change History.

    * Set the date range to the day the problem appears to have started, including the day before (because the actual change could have happened the day before, but the impact didn't really show in the stats until the next day).

    * Analyze all the changes made during the time period. You can narrow down all the changes further by campaign, ad group, user, change types.

    * You may be able to trace the root cause of the problem back to a certain change(s) made, assuming you're analyzing the change history data properly,

    * If not caused by any changes made in the account, it's likely caused by an external factor(s). In that case, get in touch with Google support and ask for their help.
