When using the All-in-One SEO plug-in for WP, am I supposed to fill in the title and description boxes or is this only if I want to override any automatically populated data? It's not really clear to me whether the widget does all the work for me based on my post titles etc. To be honest, I don't really understand what this plug-in does. Many thanks. |

You just need to fill in the title, meta description and the tags (or keywords). This is what google or other search engine looks at most of the time. If these are not filled, it looks at other description or contents on your web page.

Yes you only need to fill them in if you want to override the default titles WP uses (i.e. Post Title - Blog Name for post pages).

Make sure your keywords are in the title, description, tags, and also in url. Thats on site seo done. Social bookmark it using your keyword back to that url
