Default Silo Structuring Stress

Hello everyone out there,

I am an avid article creationist and came across the silo structure ideas. I haven't bought any courses or ebooks, in fact my knowledge mostly rests on a single youtube video I saw.

More and more as a network marketer I am focusing on a single hub, or HQ if you will, for all my MLM leads to go to. My HQ is my blog, as that is the best way in this very relationship-oriented industry, so I would like to setup silo structuring with my blog.

Has anyone heard of this or done it? If so, love to hear a very crisp-clean-simple explantion of the low-down on how to accomplish silo structuring articles and blogs.

The example I saw also used the idea of landing pages, I am unsure if the person met capture pages when they said landing pages or something else. In the example they showed the blog linking to 3 landing pages from where then they were linked back to from articles.

Clear the fog for me Warriors : )

To the top,
-Gregory

Default Re: Silo Structuring Stress

Hehe siloing is simple themeing content within catagories. e.g.

Dog Training Main Theme
Silo 1 - Dog training guide
silo 2 - Dog trianing book
Silo 3 - Dog training Course

Silo1 - Articles/Content realted to dog training guide

ETC...

Best person to read from is bruce clay. He has articles on this website about this. Also themezoom has free videos on their site about it.

Hope this helps

SEO siloing is an obsolete idea, it goes back to those days when some SEOs believe in PR sculpting. Ignore all that BS and make a site structure that makes the most sense for the user, interlink your pages in a way that makes the most sense for the user, and let PageRank flow freely within your site without worrying about "silos". The best advice about site hierarchy and navigation is to keep them simple and flat (avoid subfolders and subdirectories where possible, and place all pages within as few clicks from the home page as possible).

I hope this helps!
