WTF is Google Adsense Hints? Section Targeting?

I fount this piece of Adsense code that gives hints to google. Can I use some thing like this?

And how do you use section targeting? Can you use it on the keywords? Maybe put it in the Single Post.php file?

did you get that from a highly visited website?

If so, it's some experiment they are trying out to target the ads more closely rather than using the words on the page or using the comment tag code.

I tried it, works well, but I was told that i was not allowed to modify the code, and to remove it.

Ezine has it on theirs too, have done for over a year now.

askloz is correct, this feature is only open to select publishers.

I didn't see anyone else mention it in this thread so I will say it:

This applies only to AdSense publishers. It is a technique used to limit the content area used to determine which ads will be relevant to display on the page.
