Just subscribed to Paul & Angelas backlinks

I was wondering would it be a good idea to create more then one link.

So for example, everysite that I sign up for and enter the html code, I create the following

Keyword - Links to mysite1.com

Keyword - Links to mysite2.com

Keyword - Links to mysite3.com

Keyword - Links to mysite4.com

I would link to my main site and the others would be web 2.0 sites that i also promote.

Is it a good idea or is it best to just create on link to one site?

The issue is that you don't want to be "flagged" as a spammer, so purely from number of links on your page aspect, there is no problem BUT do not exaggerate in order that you'll have a smooth flight under the radar.

I use Paul's Backlinks and add up to four sites per profile.

Probability of visiting all four links by the same reader may reduce. But there are few forums that restricts number of back links in signature. I feel two links will be appropriate even with respect to visitor point of view. Probability of fulfilling the purpose of back link will be high when there is one link.
