Default Favorite/Best Niche Keyword Finding Program? Help!

off the top of my head i can think of keyword country.. keyword elite, micro niche finder, market samurai, google keyword tool and wordtracker.

I'm having problem finding those "Low hanging fruit keywords" that every talks about.

Right now I've been using word tracker and googles tool, primarily relying on the google keyword tool.

What I do is type in a few keywords such as:

Dog training
dog training guide
how to train dog

Then I sort by competition so the highest competition keywords are on top. I immediately scroll to the bottom, where the competition bar is at 0% and I begin searching for any keywords that bring in about 500-2,000 words per month. I optimize my site around 5-7 of these keywords.

Is this what I need to be doing to get on the first page of google and make a decent income with adsense? Or does the low competition keywords result in low PPC rates.. such as a lot of $.05 ad clicks.

I've done a lot over the past few days, I've sat in front of my computer and soaked in so much. I love this forum and im so happy Ive found it. I already respect several of you and would be happy making $30-50 a day at this point. Whether it be from adsense or CPA or some other affiliate programs.

Also... is it hard to get a 1-3 page website based around selling an affiliate product on the top 10 google rankings for a specific search? With proper seo of course. Definate backlinking and article marketing etc...

NO. You are doing it all wrong. that competetion bar is the adword campaign meaning there are not alot of people paying for those ads. You want full bars really. You should be paying attention to the CPC this should over a dollar. You will not be paid this but a very small percentage maybe 30 percent depends on your niche. Next make sure that you are searching for EXACT LOCAL SEARCHES. this should be over 1000. then you want to look at your competetion in the top ten. I like use traffic travis ITS FREE. THen go and get a domain. It doesnt have to be exact. you can throw in dashes or make it a plural instead of singular.
