SEO & Adsense Tips for a beginer

I just recently started a wordpress blog on a music related topic. It's hosted on a friends server as a subdomain so it's not on "blogger" or anything owned by google. I've been designing websites for a couple of years but I've never worried much about SEO or how much traffic sites were attracting; this was because I mostly did contracted design. However I am trying to change that.

What I'm looking to do is make the site as SE frienly as possible to increase my traffic. As well I'm looking for any additional tips on generating traffic and inscreasing my rank on google and other search engines. Keep in mind I have little to no knowledge on this subject.

Secondly I want to know what it takes to start monetizing your blog and creating some income. I've read stories of people using adsense to generate a decent amount of money ( even seeing a couple of dollars would thrill me ). Again I don't know much about adsense but I have done some research so any tips will be greatly appreciated.

My friend, Wordpress is already a well optimize blog, Just focus on your posts. Optimize a content with a long tail keywords.You will find keywords on Google keyword tool. And don't forget to use a "LSI" technique on your content,this will help you to rank multiple related long tail keywords on search Engine. And last not least link building to your blog .

So you want to earn from adsense,hmmm. you have to first focus on your website traffic.When you will get a good traffic to your blog,then you place a adsense ads to montentize the position and other thing to gain your income.

For a start, being a subdomain of a domain might affect your rankings. To make your site as SEO-friendly as possible, take advantage of the Wordpress SEO plugins

LSI(Latent Semantic Indexing) is a very power technique uses in web content. when ever you write an article on what ever theme, Open up Google and search your keyword with tilte example:~ dog, then you will get it's related search term on bold highlighted at title, like dogs,pets,puppies,breed,etc. I think you got it what I mean.Just Google it About "LSI" and you will get a lots of information and tips on it. Google keywords tool is uses for research keywords.

Yeah I was worried that being a subdomain might make it a little more difficult. I guess once I'm done the template I'll invest in my own domain. Thanks for the tips!
