Unfortunately we see this nasty practice being used even by some Warriors in WSO section  They show you screenshots from Google page 1 and boast about huge competition for these keywords. Unfortunately not so many people know even the basics of SEO and do not know how to check the competition and see that this competition is - damn easy! I AM TIRED of these lovely smiling faces who tell you junk, show you fake proofs of their SEO power and brainwash you. I recorded a video guide which shows a simple way to check if the lovely screenshot with "hundreds of thousands or millions of competitors" in Google is not another fake and cheating of the people who do not know SEO. Use this simple tip before you trust any SEO Goober in future. |

Much needed stuff. Sick of those WSOs with rankings for keywordnoonecares.com (without quotes!!one1) first place out of 356,000 results.. as proof! Too bad we're not allowed to comment in the WSO section (unless you buy the thing, that is). |

well there are lots of people simply believe that. so that;s why I am striving on results like "make money online" or "affordable hosting" kind of real big competitive keywords.. anyway thanks for your tips. |

I agree that you won't have more than 1,000 competitors, but with keywords like "make money online" or "affordable hosting", a lot of those competitors are going to be 800-pound gorillas.  It's not just about the number. Jason |

Great post mate . . . !!!! Let me be the first to say . . . I sell SEO Services . . . I don't understand why people pay for SEO services. . . . If they are paying for SEO, I view it they are buying my time to do the stuff, they could be doing themselves. |

haha awesome video man!!! I had a consultation with some big SEO company and they pulled this exact crap on me but luckily I saw through it and saved us a few grand. Great video, keep them coming!

Basically it is in their interest to have this info roaming the net, because lots of SEO *experts* will have big troubles with cheating the people with their fancy screenshots and selling SEO junk that has not been working for years. So, my vision is that this video is clearing the rubbish SEO from the market. Less *experts* on the market, better for Google. The only problem I see right now is that many *experts* whose sales are depending upon how many people they can cheat with screenshots of page 1 for lousy easy keywords will start complaining to Google, because this video is a nice kick into their b*tt and when a person knows how to do inanchor check - it is very difficult to lure this person into the purchase of useless product. But I hope Google will not listen to the complaints of these whiners. | |
