Default Ranking on Search Engines

When you guys talk about ranking number 1 on google and such are you talking about ranking with your term with no quotations around the keyword or with quotations. I ask because I rank #1 on lots of my keywords when I use "" but when I don't use them my sites are no where to be found. The funny thing is the guys ranking 2nd and 3rd with a quotation search rank in the top couple pages without quotations.

People mean without quotations.
When people search they do not use quotations unless they are uber-geeks.
Ranking with quotations is called a phrase match type of search. Without it is called a broad match type of search.

I would go as far as saying that ranking in a phrase match search is essentially worthless. Which is not to say that it is not good. It is progress, definitely. But more work does indeed need to be done.

That's a nice result. Depending on keywords, it can sometime take many months just to reach the first page.

Hi,

When we search with quotes then google database search the specific words given inside the quotes and ignor the others. when we search without quotes then it searches all the results with its ranking. and also people usually search the result without quotes so increase your taffic to come in top ten without quotes.
