I've got an ecommerce website with many pages & products. I want to get the same page ranked for let's say 25 keywords. 3 Short Tail Keywords 22 Long Tail Keywords It would be very simple to create a new page for each long tail keyword with meta tags to match it and then they would rank easily. Here's the issue: duplicate content! I would have the same products on all 25 of these pages, so wouldn't that be a big issue? If 25 pages with the same exact products, images, links, etc are all on the SAME website? How to go about this... |

"Where to buy leather watch bands" That is the main keyword. Now look at all the combination we can have that the Search Engines will recognize. "Buy leather watch bands" "Leather watch bands" "watch bands" etc etc etc. Long tailed keywords can easily get indexed for other keywords that we weren't intending. Anyways... Back to the subject... Create a unique article on your site that links back to the product. That is your best bet and I have had great success with this method. | |
