Well it happened. I finally got indexed with the 3 major search engines. Google acknowledged all my pages, while Yahoo and MSN only indexed my home page. I did several SEO scans and my average score was 96%!! Most were 98% and Google gave all my pages at least a 7/10 landing score for the keywords I'm targeting, most were 10/10!! This excites me and tells me that I have at least done something right. I am looking for long term growth with my website. I am all about building a QUALITY site will free content and useful (affiliate) links where people can buy REAL stuff that will actually end up SAVING them money. I know, I'm an outcast already. ![]() So my plan is this: 1 article per day to the top 5 article sites, 1 post on a squidoo lens each day, and a very very small and targeted PPC campaign. I am also going crazy on Yahoo! Answers, AND people are selecting my answers as the best ones and thanking me for directing them to a great site (doesn't get much better than that!). Once my site gets higher traffic, and I tweak it further (I plan on doubling the size of it within a month or so), then I am going to email several tech review sites that do daily articles and just ask them to check out my site. I'll ask them to include a reference to my site in one of their articles (assuming they like it). My hope is that a link to my website will end up in an article on the front page of a tech site that gets about a million hits per month. That should generate some real traffic and give me the jumpstart that I definitely need. Thoughts? |

Sounds pretty solid, as long as it's a reasonable goal for you personally and as long as you can stay committed to it. I think I should start setting some goals for myself...so thanks, i'm inspired!
