How to check if page is no-follow

Hi there,

I was just wondering how, I check if a page, is no follow or not.

Go to VIEW-->SOURCE, then check if there is rel="nofollow" tag infront of others websites. if there is just your link <A HREF="">...</A>, that is DOFOLLOW. If there is <A rel="nofollow" HREF="">...</A>, that is NOFOLLOW.

Other than this, You can use Firefox, That will show you NOFOLLOW automatically by "strikethrough" the link.....

guys thats how to check if a LINK is no follow. To check if the page is no follow. View source and see if the no index, no follow meta tag is there. If not then analyze robots.txt to see if the page is set to disallow

robots.txt is an interesting point you have made.

with seo for FF, you can check if a page is nofollow - if you find ALL LINKS AS NOFOLLOW, then assume the page is nofollow page.

firefox is the easiest...it is in the options where it will simply highlight the no follow links pink...

if you are seeking Google ranking then a no follow link doesn't carry any value. But if you are seeking ranking in Yahoo and MSN then a nofollow link still help.

Get the SearchStatus extension for Firefox at:
SearchStatus | Firefox SEO Toolbar Extension

It will let you see all nofollow links on a page as well as Pagerank, incoming links etc. etc.
