Hey folks, I'm looking at running some PPC campaigns, but I'd like to try some of the "little guys" as well as the behemoths we are all familiar with. I am wondering, has anybody had any direct experience running PPC campaigns on second tier search engines? I'd be really interested to hear what kind of results people have had, good or bad, via engines other than Yahoo and Google. Thanks! - Kezz |

Have you gone to Microsoft AdCenter yet? I get higher ROI from them than Google or Yahoo!.

Thanks Dan, I'll go check it out now. Hahaha - was loading it in the other window as I was typing this message. I'm using Chrome and I get a great big message telling me the browser is not supported. Ah you crazy kids. |

Just reading some reviews and there's some reasonable feedback on Findology and ABCSearch. Has anybody tried either of those?

If you're going to do PPC, do it with the top 3. Then find a different venue for marketing. Sponsor blogs and forums, write articles for top publications (online and off, not article directories), run and recruit affiliates for your own affiliate program, send a press release... | |

Ok cool, good to know. I was tempted by ABCSearch, but I did see some people complaining about click fraud, so you've put a tick in that same column. Your mention of sponsoring blogs and forums also brings me to another question. I know there's a section in the forum about reciprocal links and buying and selling links, but I was also hunting around today for quality advertising space and I didn't really turn up what I was looking for. I found some good ad networks, but none of them were really the kind of traffic I'd like to aim for. Has there ever been talk of setting up an area of the forum here where ad space can be bought and sold? I'd be confident there would be tonnes of members who have the perfect kind of site for me to advertise on, and it would be great to have an area to put your hand up and say what kind of ad space you're looking for. Has this already been considered and not done, or it something that could possibly happen here? |

You can go with MSN and Bing. Those are the only options left. But to tell you the truth, most of the traffic comes from google and others aren't worth much Igor |
