i noticed a conversion today in CPA network account, but not in my adwords interface i did give my affiliate manager my tracking code does the conversion tracking just take a while sometimes or did my affiliate manager mess it up? thanks |

He may have messed it up. I have found it to be accurate and never found any reason why it wouldn't be. There is probably a delay as dburk says, I just don't know what the delay could be myself. I'll go with his 24 hours since conversion data is probably the last one updated in your account after impressions and clicks. If I recall correctly too, ad groups are updated before campaigns so you can see differences between the two if you check today's stats. Also keep in mind that conversions are tracked for up to 30 days. If someone clicked your ad on June 1, they could still buy from you until June 30. That conversion will appear for the ad and keyword that triggered your ad on June 1st, no matter when the conversion occurred. If you use Analytics as well, you'll see a conversion for the day it actually happened. Therefore, Analytics and Adwords data will not match day for day. |
