Good Tip For Backlinks

Most of the experienced internet marketers in this forum will know this trick, but it may be helpful for people who are struggling to find back links.

When I have a new site set up and I am ready to start building back Links, I go over to Google and look at my competition.

I then write the first five url’s down and head over to Backlinks Checker Tool - Backlink
Watch

I plug each URL into the back link checking tool,

You will then be provided with a list of sites that you can use to get your own back links.

Hope this helps a few people

Yahoo's Site Explorer gives more or less the same results as Backlink Watch. Actually they are so similar that I think BLW might be getting their results from the Yahoo Site Explorer database.

The backlinks tell Google how important your website is. Google interprets a lot of backlinks to mean that a lot of people approve of the site and are talking about it, therefore making it more important in Google's eyes.

If this tool is actually using the backlinks shown in Yahoo's tool, then I probably should mention that Google credits me with none of the links that Yahoo does. It might be better to check those competing sites through a tool that checks Google backlinks and go after those.

My questions is...once you have these backlinks to other sites, what do you do? Do you create links from your articles to those links in other articles that have good ranking?

I think this is what you do, but am not sure.

So would you then take this list that you create thru Backlink watch and create links on some of your articles that are related to some of these articles and link them?

I have been using this one for a while but I prefer Site Explorer. "Backlink Watch" takes a while to catch up to the backlinks.

It is a good tool I use myself when making mini sites, I also check up on the top ten sites key words to see if I am missing any long tail keywords sometimes.

I also suggest you to use:

-autopager firefox addon (loads all pages at once)
-webextractor.com or any other url extractor
-use the tool suggest by samuelbell to check links

Google rankings are determine by the number of visitors on your page.As you get more quality baclinks index by google,the higher your page rank will be.

Good tips for backlinks, really tough. Because there are many backlink creation techniques. The best suggestions I can give get some SEO idea than continue to building backlinks for your site.
As a new you can go through social bookmarking sites to get quick backlinks.
