Does google update PR again?

I have noticed one of my article with PR0 2 days back, but now when I checked it is with NO PR. Does google update the PR very recently??

Google does not update the PR on frequent basis.
I have also a site but google does not update my PR on daily basis...

Can you please tell me some tips to increase my PR..?

Google does update PR freqeuntly but doesn't give anymore than a PR of 0 to a page until the next PR update.

That's what I see consitently anyway, pages getting a PR of 0 then nothing or more.

Increasing PR is not important, what's important is increasing the value of your content to get a higher PR.

That's right, in fact, PR is updated continuously, every single day, only the value displayed in the toolbar gets exported once in a while.

Some of the pages on one of my sites went from "unranked" to PR0 in the last week.

I use the Firefox SearchStatus plugin to check page rank (and not Google Toolbar).

I suppose smaller updates keep happening, though the last bigger one was in June 2009 and probably the next one would be around September 2009.

Google has updated visible PR twice recently, both at the end of the past two months. there are threads on lots of forums where people are seein movement again, so perhaps it now is a monthly thing and another update is underway.

I think having a high PR is good more for our own ego but it's better to focus on getting better search engine ranking. Anyway page rank helps but only 20% of your search engine ranking calculation.

Hi

From what I can tell Google is now continuously rolling out Pagerank updates, I have seen new sites get pagerank within a few weeks of working on them. We always used to know that Google have always been constantly updating their inner Pagerank status on a daily basis and now that is what seems to be displayed to us. There is no more long periods of pagerank inactivity.
