I have a myspace layout site and traffic is pretty decent(about 900-1000 uniques a day). I have adsense littered all over the place, good positions too. Lately the CTR has been very slowly dropping but that's not the real problem, the real problem is that google is starting to give me less and less for each click. It's averaging around 7-9 cents. I'm thinking i could be making a lot more money with another network. Does anyone have any advice on another way to monetize my site or another network that shows good ads for myspace layout sites? Keep in mind that the demographic is very young. Hope to here some suggestions from you all! |

Well, maybe cut down on the amount of ads you're showing so Google is forced to show more relevant ads. Best way to monetize a site like that would be something intrusive, such as... zango (gasp!!) Or, I know people that would pay a good dollar to get some links from myspace profiles.. you could insert their link into the page codes for a fee. |

It's also possible you may have been smart-priced. Are you running Adsense on any other sites? Try taking Adsense off for a week or so (off all sites if you are running it on multiple) then put your ads back up.
