Default Destination URL in Adwords Ad

Hi,
Recently I learned that I can use something like the below configuration in my ad:

Display URL: TheSite.com
Destination UTL: TheSite.com/affiliate=?12345

Ok, a more specific question:

Can I use a link created within Clickbank, in my destination URL?

e.g. : aa1334....elftmjle2.hop.clickbank.net/

The part "...." is deleted in order not to have that product promoted here.

You can use an affiliate link in your destination URL but the first level domain of your Display URL must match the first domain of your Destination URL.

I suggest you build your own landing page instead of driving adwords traffic directly to the sales page. With your own landing page, you have more control and can capture visitors' names and email addresses for follow up.

Why would you use tinyurl? In Destination URL? You dont need it, as Chrisba and yuyan suggested, we can use the affiliate link as it is.

Hi yuyuan,

Technically, that is not correct.

The domain of your Display URL must match the domain of the Landing Page. Your destination URL can be any domain as long as it redirects to a Landing Page on the same domain as your display URL.
