Just wondered if anyone could help me with this. When I my site comes up in search it has "is powered by WordPress · WordPress Themes." written in the description for all to see. I really don't want that in my search results description. How do I remove it or make it so that does not show up in the results? Thanks for your advice! |

You will need to edit the footer.php file, using any html editor.

I had to pay a little bit extra to get custom CSS but that should allow you to solve the problem.

It is gone now. Not sure how, but it is! I just have to wait for google to update the cache or crawl again...now it says 'not found, what you are looking for is not here' in the search result description. I have changed the html a bit so I think that will correct that problem. I will have to wait and see I guess! Thanks! |
