I have a blog that it at my main domain but with a "/blog" at the end of the domain name. I'm trying to find high traffic low competition keywords, the kind that get two or three thousand searches a month but less than 20,000 competition. I want to take these keywords and get an article up that will be on the front page for many months to come. Should I put up an article on ezine and then use some of Angela's backlinks to backlink each article, or should I put these articles up on my blog and use her backlinks to backlink the url to my blog home page. Or even should I be backlinking the individual articles on my blog, or even backlink just my main domain home page? I'm looking for something that will really last long term, so I'm leaning toward backlinking my blog...but I don't want to do that if it's going to take a while and if I would be better off getting the google love from ezine. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Scott |

Angela's backlinks are great but the only problem is they're not fool-proof. Out of every 10 i try, after a couple of days 5 are removed. So there's just a 50% result for the work you do. But the remaining 50% links being on high PR webpages can be quite good and useful .

It really depends on how you are going to leverage that traffic and whether you want to see quick results or have a long term plan. Having the articles published on ezinearticles or any other major article publishing site and then building backlinks for those published articles will help your article rank high in relatively short period of time. If your site is a PR5+ site with several pages indexed and you have multiple keywords ranking high in SERPs, whether targeted or unintentionally, I'd suggest publish the article on your site without giving it a second thought. If it is a new site with no PR and you want to get your articles indexed and ranked faster then publishing them on ezinearticles would be the right choice and if you have a long term plan for your blog or you are not using these articles for any kind of marketing then building backlinks for your blog would be better.

Your question has already been answered - Article on site or EZA first ? DO NOT POST TO ANY ARTICLE DIRECTORY FIRST - POST THE ARTICLE TO YOUR SITE AND BUILD BACKLINKS TO YOUR SITE Please read the thread above... Wish more people would use the search function.... James |

They are packs of backlinks given to you each month for $5, however are no where near as effective as they were to begin with at all. In my opinion you are best off getting your own sources so your backlinks stick. Tom Brite | |
