Placement of adsense blocks

Thinking the only dumb question is the one that isn't asked, I'm wondering if any warriors can tell me how to get a block of adsense ads on the top left of each of my blog posts. I'm told that's the best place to put them, so thought I'd give it a shot and see if it improves my ctr. I can easily stick adsense on top of posts, on the bottom, and in the sidebar, but I've no idea how to get them in that top left position on a post. Is it a plugin?

You can literally post the adsense code directly in to the top of your blog post and it will appear top left. I trust you are using wordpress?

No problem

there are plugins to control adsense but what could be easier than copy and pasting direct where its needed
