Default What to do with a lot of good keyword strings?

What if you had a hundred or more solid, low competition keyword strings all basically looking for the same thing? What would be the best way to utilize that?

Would you be better to focus on just a small handful of them and move onto another niche, or should you just try to put them all to use and get as much traffic as possible--especially if the commissions are high?

Would it better to set up a bunch of minisites all focused on selling the same thing or one huge site with multittudes of pages (not necessarily all linked together so a click-happy visitor wouldn't find it spammy)? Or is there a point of diminishing returns and punishment by Google for a site like that?

Would it be better to set up the minisite with a couple good pages of on-site seo and use the rest of the strings for article marketing purposes?

I know that is a lot of questions, but it is just different possible scenarios with the same situation. Is it just a matter of personal approach?

Hi James,

Sometimes things look good on paper, but don't perform as well in practice. If your keywords target a product or service you are marketing then I would recommend you setup a test PPC campaign.

After you confirm the potential profitability of a keyword you can build out an SEO campaign targeting that same keyword.

Pick an article directory. Write an article. Test your phrase. See if it works for your niche. If it does go from there.

Thanks for the replies--some good advice. I guess I should have specified my question was somewhat hypothetical. I was more interested in opinions on what the best strategy would be in a situation llike that if you had all those keywords.
