What are Angela's and Paul's Back links?

Hello all,

I'm a newbie here, and I've read some people talking about Angela's and Paul's sites are good for backlinking.

However, what are they actually? And, what are the names of their sites? I'd like to check them out and see if it really works.

They are both monthly subscriptions and you get sent a pdf file with some high pr websites each month in return for your money.

Personally i reccomend finding your own high pr backlinks because of the limited sucess rate of your backlinks sticking at the sites they release in their packs (down to around 50%), which basicly means half the time you spend getting backlinks on these sites is wasted by the end of it.

However they do still increase your rankings none the less and as does any high pr backlinks.

Bottom line is, backlinks will help you rank for any kind of keywords, and depending on how competitive the keyword is, you will need different amount of link power to rank on page 1.

I have just used Angela's backlinks and although it took some tim e to accomplish it was pretty easy and I saw results to my goarticles article the same day. I can see why half of those sites would drop your links though, since you are not really contributing and value to their website, so finding your own would probably be the better option in the long run. I think I will check out Tom Brite's guide. Looks pretty good.

It depends on how you post the link, they may or may not remove your link. But to minimize the removal, you should add:

1. A simple picture
2. More info in about me
3. Post Useful Blog or comment

Just try your best and the link will stay, as long as possible!

There's absolutely no reason to make this an either/or game. Angela and Paul's backlink packets are excellent as is Kok's. There's no reason not to use them all and buy Tom's to find your own.

The more backlinks you have and the more effectively you use them the more money you will make. Don't get trapped into thinking that just one of these is the answer. They aren't different systems. They are all service providers providing the same thing ... saving you time. Take advantage of all of them.

The backlinks on these sites rely on what is known as "trickle-down PR".

The concept is that while a page you setup on an authority site (blog, profile, about me page...whatever) may not have enough links pointing at it to have a PR higher than Zero...the link juice from the root domain, which may be a PR8 somehow "trickles down" to all of the pages on the site and is then transferred to your site through any dofollow links you place on your page within that authority site.

This is proven to work by countless testimonials on Angela's, Paul's, and Steve's threads. The proof is in the pudding as they say, and I was able to crack a site out of the sandbox in 3 days after it had been lodged there for 6 weeks.

I'm a believer in these links.

Tom Brite's e-book on finding these yourself is great too because if you can locate your own places, then you don't have to worry that they won't stick after the people on Angela's Paul's lists start overrunning those sites. (but that's not THAT big of a problem either if you play the game right and have patience)

I get both of their subscriptions, but no longer use them as they suggest.

I go through the lists and find any of the sites that offer their members the ability to publish articles or do blog posts and I post my articles from EZA and GoArticles there.

I then keep a list from each month of these sites and post new content there regularly. No spam problems at all, and my backlinks stay up intact. I also get traffic from people reading the content and clicking my links. Go figure...

Just so you know of the success I have had with Angela's backlinks over the past 45 days. I only did February's list of 30, but some of them stopped accepting registrants. That's not an issue to me since I would say 25 out of 30 were excellent. I'm fine with that. My Google rankings for 'alkaline water' went up 2 spots! Okay big deal you say? Well from 7 to 5 is a HUGE deal!

A general tip: If you want to make these links stick, leave the profile sitting for about a week before you post content/your links to it. That will ensure that you're under the radar of the moderators, and you'll have a higher percentage of your links sticking around long-term.

The way you need to get these working is by doing a 2 pass on the links. Signup then leave it 7-10 days before dropping any links.

I would also found it better to wait 2/3 months before you angelas or pauls links. This is normally the time when the sites have re-enabled signups and the mass hordes of signups have ended.

You are absolutely right, TrafficMystic, there really isn't a rush to get them all posted in one day or even a week for that matter...those high PR sites aren't going anywhere. And if they aren't accepting registrants come back in a couple of months.

I take my time and post 1 to 3 every other day or so on the high PR sites. I also post comments on blogs and news sites in between. I've noticed good traffic from them as well.

Yes, one of the most important tricks to be successful with SEO is always hiding your tracks... The better you do it, the longer lasting your'll be!

The most effective way to lead Google to rank you for any keyword is link building, but Google really discourage any kind of link building activity, that's why you need to lay low.

Double pass is a great way to minimize profile removal, that way Google won't see sudden lost of great amount of links, and even they removed by the webmaster over time, your ranking will not dropped suddenly and caught in the filter.

We might have different definition, let me share about my result -

I had many sites and articles ranking on page 1 of Google using Majority of profile link, until today they are still there (1 year +).

Link building is about covering your tracks, stay under the radar and in a way "cheat" Google. If you are good, your site would last years and forever!

Google kept changing their algorithm, the key is not link building but everything else!

Meaning you need good content, link building strategy and some true Natural link building strategy in place:

1. Link bait page
2. Authority site Guest blogging
3. Good content distribution channel (Old style article marketing)

These strategies are good for authority site building, for BUM marketing, profile links + bookmarking should be enough to rank articles, for a long long time!

Angela & Paul Back links are created on HIGH PR site inner pages also called as profile back links. Usually you need to register to High PR site and you create your website backlink in member profile page.

They are great. In fact now you can also get services that do the daunting task of adding your links to the various forums as well so it becomes even easier. The only thing I've seen is that these type of links takes a bit longer time to get indexed these days but it might just be me. If you are patient these are killer methods (forum profiles).

I also have a question about these backlinks - looking at the packs it seems that they usually consist of adding a profile to some forum and adding your site url into the website part of the profile - but heres the thing - do your sites url really make a difference or do you also have to post something in that forum for the back link to stick?

Because I would imagine that if a site did maintenance and cleared all members with 0 posts then they would nuke most backlinks created on the site profiles

That is the problem... he he. If the mods clean up their system and delete zero posters - well then your links are gone. However, if you add a post your signature will show on the post and you will be labled a spammer and deleted anyways

My take on this:

I have a few forums that I have found that allow you to have link in the profile and that are DO Follow AND have posts with high PR. I post relevant interesting posts to these posts to get instant high pr backlinks. This is extremely time consuming though and I cannot do many of these.

The best is therefore usually to just add your forum profile with some kind of software and then maybe ping the profile or do some linkbuilding to it to get it indexed and even get some PR on your profile so it will pass even more PR back to your main site... puh. does it make sense?

Sure, that can happen. Unfortunately, any time you put up a link on any domain that you don't personally own it can be taken down. Yes, even article directories and web 2.0 sites.

Its a numbers game. I put up 1000+ links a day and if some come down so be i.t

The number of forum/community sites out there is in the 100s of thousands. You just need to find sites that aren't getting slammed. There are ways to get profile sites after all other than subscribing to angela/pj's packets

To each their own. IMHO, submitting spun articles to 400 article directories with article bot xxx is spamming too, or submitting your article on acne cures to digg. In any event, do what fits in with your ideals. As a forum owner myself, signature links in dormant profiles is fine with me, but xrumer spamming threads (i.e., active spamming), is not.

Well I don't wanna get bashy but...I don't recommend it and here's why.

These backlink packets are given to probably hundreds or thousands of marketers each month. Each marketer gets the same packet.

Eventually these domains they send you to to create your backlinks in the forum profiles have been disabled.

Why?

Because everytime they send out a backlink packet their servers fill up with a bunch of irrelevant crap... i.e. a bunch of inactive accounts with nothing but a "no follow" link in the bio section of these profiles.

I bought a TWO packets, and should have learned after the first packet. Both packets that guaranteed me 30 or 50 backlinks, only provided 10 or 25 backlinks because of the spammage done by their packet buyers.

That's what I'm worried of.

Many many years ago, this forum was flooded with bulk mailers, which we must not blame them because such practice was not 'outlaw' yet. Besides, the owner of this forum was also a bulk mailer too.

Then, it got worse and the public from everywhere virtually wanted to murder these people. Fortunately, a mod came in and did something drastic to save this forum. You know who...

Would this link building method piss the whole global i-village, and people start to stage a massive 'witch-hunt'?

I'm worried. But I don't know. Would history repeat? Another massive 'exodus'???

"How can you be sure?" as written in a newsletter by a forum mod. It's an interesting read. I physically print it and keep a copy in my private library.

"Angela" and "Paul" are real people who engage in finding numerous websites/forums/blogs with high PR. They sell these "packets" for a minimum price. I have worked with Angela's packets before and usually her monthly subscription consists of 30 sites with 1 bonus. The PDF files contain secured instructions on how to post your backlink. The PDF can only be opened on one computer.

I encountered an error before eventhough I used the same computer in opening the file. Good thing is, Angela responded quickly and the file was fixed.

Unless you know the subject/topic of every site you visit useing A & P backlinks, they are quite useless. To be successful at backlinking, you must participate and add value at these forums, etc. And...the spammers have already been there most of the time!!

Obviously the person misspoke, and perhaps English is not the person's first language. In any event, the great thing is the links help alot even if they are on new, PR0/NA pages, if the underlying root domain PR is decent.
