Default Small question about google webmaster tools

Google says I'm ranking #3 for my targeted keyword, but I don't see it there and my website is not getting any traffic from this keyword, according to Google Analytics.

I've been waiting for a couple of days for it to appear in this keyword's SERPS.

Should I keep waiting, or might there be something wrong with my website that needs fixing?

Could google have taken my website off of the SERPS of that specific keyword?

There shouldn't be any problems. It's a wordpress blog with a decent amount of relevant content.

PS - When you begin submitting content to Google, it does this funny thing called the "Google Dance" and will knock your site off its socks. And then a few days later it shows up again.

As long as you are not generating 1200 new links in one day for a brand new site (1 day old that is) you're fire.

Whilst I cant give a definitive answer without knowing myself, I would suggest that you either search or at least ask here...

I can answer this. Google does the same thing for me in webmaster tools and it's completely inaccurate. It's always been this way and I can't begin to understand why it does this. In fact, I just checked my own webmaster tools page to confirm this, and it's still doing the same thing.

I guess even the Big G has bugs

Go on what you see when you run searches yourself, and on your analytics.

A search on recursion that is recursive. That's funny, I suspect it's deliberate.

If this doesn't make sense please reread from the beginning.
