Best Pay Per Impression Programs?

Well I've got a website featuring lessons and guides, the CTR is painfully low as the people are there with a purpose of learning and when they are done I suppose they simply exit out. I get about 3-5k impressions per day on this particular site and since adsense earnings are painfully low I was considering adding a Pay Per Impression program. Possibly banner advertisements or text ads... maybe popups?

What are everyone's opinions on the best programs for PPI (Not pay per install).

I'd like something around $3-5 per thousand impressions or better... Still beats my adsense earnings.

C'mon guys... any input on some good programs that pay per impression whether it is popups, banner ads.. page views etc.

I can't imagine you getting 3-5 dollars per thousand impressions. Most CPM networks pay well below 1$ per thousand pageviews served. I'v never had good results from CPM networks, especially because they lower the money you make per 1k impressions based on your CTR!

Don't take my word for it though, maybe some other warriors will prove me wrong.

I'd really trust my time into a company that has had a good review from a fellow warrior.
