Hi guys, Just need some help. I wanted to know what the allintitle tag does in Google and how this would help rank for keywords. Any ideas? Thanks |

Allintitle: finds Web pages in Google Web search that only contain all of the keywords in their title. The keyword should follow with no spaces.

Do the search at Google like this: allintitle:"keyword phrase" Using quotes will tell you how many sites are in competition with you for that EXACT phrase. In other words, you'll quickly learn who else has purposefully (most likely) SEO'ed their page for that keyword phrase. It's just a quick way to get a handle on true competition. You still want to check out the Top 10 results when you do a BROAD search (just the keyword phrase without quotes). This will give you a much better idea of your real chances of getting on Page 1 at Google for any keyword. John |
