How Do I Do Direct Linking From Google Ad To The Clickbank Product Page?

Hi. I know that direct linking is not rreally advisable to do nowadays. However, i woould just like to try out some direct linking before creating a landing page, to test the profitability and viability of the niche.

Can anyone tell me how to do it?

I have tried doing it with a mini campaign of mine that i just launched but I'm not sure if i did it right.

Basically here's what i did:

-I created a google ad and matched the display url with the destination url. (eg. display:makemoney.money.com; destination: money.com)

- I then edited all the various keywords and filled in my unique clickbank hoplink in the destination url box beside the keyword in adwords.

-Then i launched my campaign.

So, Did I do it right? Can someone please tell me?

(P.S I have questions about the destination url subject.. Are we allowed to put the clickbank hoplink as our destination url and then fill in the display url as the product landing page url)

Hi, I haven't used adwords for a while now so unless they changed their rules that is exactely what you want to do is put your clickbank hoplink as the destination url for direct linking and then fill in the display url as the product landing page url.

Well google has this policy that says our display url must match our destination url. So that's why i didn't put the clickbank hoplink in the destination url box.

Will the conversion be tracked under my name if i place the clickbank hoplink beside the keywords' destination url?

One way Im doing it is to simply buy a unique domain name for each product you want to sell with godaddy, redirect the affiliate link to the domain name, and promote the unique domain name (with affiliate link redirected) in adwords.

You can do this under the rader very easily.

What you CAN''T do is have a Display URL be different than the affiliate link.

So if you skip the process of paying the bit of money to get your own domain name (at the very least if you don't want to pay for hosting to create a basic landing page), from what I remember, the system won't even let you put up the ad.
