Anyone had a suspended account reinstated before?

I received an email from google saying my account had been suspended and that I would never be able to open another account again with them.
I returned the email stating my case. I figured out what I had done to annoy google and made the change straight away. I asked for reconsideration but never heard back from them (as happens sometimes with google).

Anyhow, today I tried to log in to my account and could log in. I could see all my stats. I set up a campaign and google let me do so. I am wondering when they are going to send me that nasty email again. I am bewildered as to why it is letting me do this, not that I am complaining. all I can think of is that some nice person at google saw my email, accepted my apology for an innocent mistake and decided to reinstate my account without sending me an email explaining that they had done so.

Any one had this happen before? It seems too good to be true... or should I be expecting to be closed down in the next few hours? I am praying hard...

Were you unable to log in after the notification? They may just not have closed the account yet.

In my experience - I'm Google Certified and have managed a LOT of Adwords accounts - once you're terminated, that's it.

That said, I know of many people who simply opened up another account using different email & credit card.

Yeh, I had my account suspended, then I also made my case and they reinstated my account. It does happen.

I'm not sure, was Kim referring to adsense or adwords? I had my adsense account suspended and you're referring to adwords. Maybe we're both right?

Regarding getting a suspended account re-instated, I was referring to Adwords.

I think Adsense would be even harder.

ah. its hard to reinstate your adsense account once its suspended. google is sooooo strick when it comes to adsense. good thing your had your account back.
